Couldnt disagree more with the previous review. The rooms are exactly what are described when booking, suited my needs perfectly for the week + the extra couple of days that I needed to book in after arriving at the hotel. All staff were super friendly, helpful and accomodating, couldn’t rate them any higher! Were an absolutely fantastic bunch of people and more than happy to help out when needed! Brilliant location in the heart of Fremantle, 5 minute walk to the cbd with restaurants, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants super close by, perfect location to easily explore what the town has to offer and the added restaurant/ bar attached to the hotel is a fantastic bonus. Rooms and facilities were comfortable and user friendly, perfect place to crash after a big day of getting out and about! I was 2 rooms down from the hotel guest in question causing a commotion in the previous review, the hotel manager and staff promptly addressed complaints about this guest once they were made aware of the seriousness of the disturbance to everyone and acted by asking the gentleman to remove himself from the property. The manager handled the situation extremely well and professionally by putting all the hotel guests stay and comfortability as the top priority, couldn’t commend his actions any higher as people can be quite unpredictable and intimidating, so thankyou for looking out for everyone and tackling it head on! Unfortunately all it takes is one spoilt apple to ruin the bunch in any situation or circumstance and I did not see it as a bad reflection on the hotel! Will definitely be back to stay again and would recommend for anyone looking to experience Fremantle and its surrounding areas for a...
Read moreCame here for tea break as we were working late doing an End of Lease Clean. Lucky for us it was just around the corner off Queen Victoria Street., Fremantle. It was noticeable as it stood out, love ❤ the reminiscent old school architecture of the building, it appeared inviting, cosy and suggested good food was available. They had advertising outside with specials for certain nights of the week. The advertisements were bright clear and specific as well as tempting, inviting and fit for any budget, 🥰 perfect. The bar was clean well stocked with a great variety of liquid refreshments alcoholic as well as non alcoholic. Service was excellent. It offered entertainment in the form of pool table and large TV screens placed strategically around, meals available with a selection to satisfy any individual. We thoroughly enjoyed our Hawaiian burger and Cheese burger which came with chips. The buns of the burgers were awesome and the homemade relish was too die for. Best burgers and chips, we've tasted since coming to Perth. Time wise was great as we were starving, managed to indulge in a pint of Northern and lemon, lime nd bitters. The ambience was fantastic, relaxing and obviously popular by the amount of customers entering. Interior overall is AFL territory with 2 jerseys holding pride of place, seating is typical of such places with great views of the railway station and the coast 🙄. Service is friendly efficient with a smile .... only a stones throw from railway station....great meal company and atmosphere, definitely visit again ... maybe stay for weekend...woohoo. Yes ..sorry accommodation...
Read moreRoom was basic as per 2 star rating. But adequate for one night stay. Unable to sleep with window open as the old style windows had no fly screens. No aircon in rooms fan only with window shut. Shared bathrooms newly renovated very nice. Service and front of house friendly and helpful. Bar area very nice. Tv room or common room on first floor, what can I say. Words can't describe the conditions. Lounges vinyl were so worn I could find better at side of road or opshop. Small bar fridge again so disgusting full of old food I could find one for free and or in opshop. A chair in the TV room that had someone's dirty clothes on it.They had been there for 4 days according to another guest who had been there 4 days since their arrival. Tv room seems to be a storage place for people's personal belongings. Having worked in hospitality this could all be fixed with daily housekeeping checking in. Tea and coffe facilities were provided which was welcome. The Tv room could be easily and cheaply be made a great place to hang out by making sure it was clean and tidy and free of others belongings. In my view common areas such as this are actually a bonus which you don't find nowadays, where you can interact with other guests from all over the globe. These hotels are an asset to the vibe of Fremantle if done right... plz fix...
