My experience with this terminal is limited to a recent round trip cruise. It was staffed well at both ends of that trip, the local staff were wonderfully polite, courteous, welcoming and helpful. There is ample parking immediately in front of the terminal, as well as a convenient pickup/drop off bay at the terminal entrance. It was a bit hard to navigate to as a visitor, as it requires a bypass and meandering route to get across the railway lines further down. Before you are able to cross and the follow a road route that at times appears to turn away from the Cruise terminal. But Google Maps delivered and got us there. All in all a very pleasant experience for a cruise port...

Just as we discovered cruising from our home port one of the big cruise lines decides to stop using Fremantle Passenger Terminal. Can't blame P&O. It is a sad looking outdated terminal. Simple looking which to visitors could make Fremantle/Perth seem outdated and stuck in the dark ages. The three return cruises we travelled on from Fremantle were well organised. Embarkation and disembarkation ran smoothly and terminal staff were fantastic each time. As a local, the terminal is fine for what it does. For a new visitor to the state, the terminal is un-appealing and therefore not a port one would...

I went to a cruise holiday last month, embarking from Fremantle as my first experience. It is well organized huge Passenger Terminal, inside spacious area to fit in hundreds to thousands people waiting and going though, also huge floor area for all the languages. There are café place to get snacks or hot drinks when waiting. Following the escalators and walking through hall ways directly go up to the ship smoothly! Efficient! The Terminal's car parking is also spacious, endless area, easy access for cars, well organized...

Come on Freo, you need to revitalize your sagging economy! Cruise passengers is your only lifeline. Yet you do not bother to repair the footbridge? You expect your passengers to walk 2km unsheltered under 36C weather? I pity folks with mobility issues. You have no shuttle service to debark thousands of cruise passengers. The 1 Star rating is to draw attention to the problem which would not be resolved "in the foreseeable future". So says the sign telling you the foot bridge is closed.

Once getting off the P&O Cruise, the whole experience went Down hill fast. It was almost impossible to get an Uber driver at the Terminal. Around 150 - 200 were trying to book Ubers but only about 30 or so entered the Terminal site. We had to lug out our Luggage on a 20 minute walk and into Fremantle before we were able to secure an Uber driver. Everyone at the Terminal had no interest in helping anyone . Such a shocking experience particularly for a lot of the Elderly and infirm.🤔😱🥺

No toilets at either embarking or disembarking. Those that were there were really hard to get to and ushers pushed you out of the way frim going to them. No seating to allow disabled and older people to go slowly. Long term car park too far. Gangways take too long and need cranes to mobilise. Needs to be user friendly with meeting points etc. Perhaps ever a snack bar or drinks for those that need to wait. Cmon Freo.. raise your hospitality facilities
