My experience with this terminal is limited to a recent round trip cruise. It was staffed well at both ends of that trip, the local staff were wonderfully polite, courteous, welcoming and helpful. There is ample parking immediately in front of the terminal, as well as a convenient pickup/drop off bay at the terminal entrance. It was a bit hard to navigate to as a visitor, as it requires a bypass and meandering route to get across the railway lines further down. Before you are able to cross and the follow a road route that at times appears to turn away from the Cruise terminal. But Google Maps delivered and got us there. Read moreJust as we discovered cruising from our home port one of the big cruise lines decides to stop using Fremantle Passenger Terminal. Can't blame P&O. It is a sad looking outdated terminal. Simple looking which to visitors could make Fremantle/Perth seem outdated and stuck in the dark ages. The three return cruises we travelled on from Fremantle were well organised. Embarkation and disembarkation ran smoothly and terminal staff were fantastic each time. As a local, the terminal is fine for what it does. It is well organized huge Passenger Terminal, inside spacious area to fit in hundreds to thousands people waiting and going though, also huge floor area for all the languages. There are café place to get snacks or hot drinks when waiting. Following the escalators and walking through hall ways directly go up to the ship smoothly! Efficient! The Terminal's car parking is also spacious, endless area, easy access for cars, well organized...
