I used to come here quite often even though the self serve water glasses were always dirty because they have a power outlet for a laptop. When i pointed out the cupsneere dirty they said they know ans that the dishwasher has issues. Gross but i needed a power outlet. I thought I'd circumvent the dirty cups by asking for a cup with ice to use for water. However, when I forgot the cup of ice one day and let it melt I noticed the ice was dirty and there was some stuff floating in the melted water. I was quite friendly with the staff and brought it up and showed the cup in a friendly manner and the person I talked to seemed shocked because they said it had just been cleaned but they'd have it done again. I came back a week later. Let a cup of ice melt. Still dirty. Mentioned it to staff and felt sick because I'd been ordering ice latte here for months and the ice was likely dirty the entire time. Came back another week later because this place was close to where I lived. Still dirty.

For those that don't know, dirty ice machines are caused by bacteria and mould and all sorts of unpleasant things that can make someone sick. I used to come here nearly every day but after a month of being told the ice was clean and them showing it to them and still having nothing done I just can't come back. How hard is it to let a cup of ice melt instead of telling me "it's clean" when I'm standing right there with the proof in my hand?

Food is good. Cabinet items are good. Hot drinks are good. There's several power outlets for laptops. But if the ice machine is consistently dirty and they're risking putting other people at risk every time they order ice, I would hate to see what the standards in the kitchen are.

If they reply to my review saying the ice issue has been fixed I still wouldn't believe them because they said that to me several times and each time I had a dirty...

I would like to say thankyou to the lovely young staff that work at Geisha Cafe and to the wonderful chefs. The food truly is delicious, the service efficient. However, I am disappointed that Geisha Cafe has decided not to honor its Senior members by withdrawing its discount for coffee and cake. For a few months there was a discount, a very small one, offered to customers. $1.50 off cake with a coffee. When I asked the Owner of the Cafe why this very small fee had been dumped he told me that the Cafe was "GOING BROKE". This was an interesting comment when one considers the price of the coffee and the food here in general. One of my other friends stated that discount is not needed anyway because the client base are wealthy, coming from and living in this beautiful area, yet, I live in the Cold Stores on Queen Victoria st and many of the men and women around me deeply struggle on their pension and low income. Especially the Seniors who live in this area. I initiated the discount originally and am very sad that Geisha Cafe cares so little for the Seniors in this area. Yet once again I wish to say and to affirm the wonderful service of the staff, the friendly welcome of the owners and the delicious food. My name is Brother Francis Mary and I believe that it is important to always challenge people on their responsibility to support and care for the community, especially the poor amongst us. Please bring this to the attention of the staff next time you sit there with your delicious food and yummy coffee, remembering that not every one is as fortunate or as wealthy as you........ but for the grace of God it could have been you in a much more disadvantaged situation than what you are hopefully currently in. Blessings again. Br Francis...

Small Cafe located in an Industrial warehouse type building on the side of a busy road. It’s dog friendly with an indoor area and alfresco area with blinds that are pulled down for shelter. They roast their own coffee, but I’ve tasted better coffee elsewhere. They have an all day brunch menu with the usual eggs Benedict etc, as well as pastries & cakes in the cabinet and a few lunch time specials like pasta. The food is similar to what you’d get at a chain cafe like coffee club or dome. What impressed me most was the speed in which we received our orders (eggs Benedict followed by coffees). we placed our order, sat down and next thing it arrived, all in a matter of minutes . The worst thing about this place is the seating arrangement. Lots of tables for 10 and high tables. If you don’t like communal dining it’s hard to find a table for two. I wouldn’t rush back due mainly to the fact that I’ve had better coffee and breakfasts elsewhere in this area but it’s good quality food and professionally run.

After visiting Roasting Warehouse South Fremantle, I walked to GESHA Cafe Fremantle, operated by GESHA Coffee Co, with the goal of buying whole beans as gifts for friends and family. Since I had just enjoyed a cappuccino at the previous café, I focused solely on purchasing four 250g bags of coffee beans. The café is a little farther from the station and felt quieter than the more bustling cafés, but this allowed me to take my time choosing the beans. The bags have charming designs, making them perfect as souvenirs. A note for those unfamiliar: “GESHA” refers to the famous Geisha coffee variety, a well-known specialty coffee bean. Using this name in the café’s branding may surprise gift recipients who notice it on the bag — they might ask, “Is this really Geisha coffee?” I thought it was worth mentioning for anyone considering it as a gift. Overall, the experience was pleasant and relaxed, with a good opportunity to select high-quality specialty coffee beans in a calm setting.

GESHA Café in Fremantle is a solid spot for a weekend coffee run, especially if you're part of the Lycra brigade—Saturday and Sunday mornings see the place buzzing with cyclists, and the ample bike racks out front make it a convenient stop. The coffee here is consistently great, and the open, airy layout ensures it never feels too cramped, even during the morning rush. While the menu leans more toward modern café fare rather than classic bacon-and-eggs style breakfasts, the offerings are still fresh, well-prepared, and reasonably priced. The location is excellent, with plenty of nearby parking making it easy to drop in. Overall, GESHA offers a relaxed, vibrant atmosphere with quality coffee at the centre of it all—well worth a visit, especially if you're rolling in on two wheels.
