Incredibly helpful and full of information and advice. Cheerful and friendly staff. The most amazing feature is the free bike hire. Just leave $50 deposit (cash or card) and you can hire a bike for absolutely free, helmet and lock are also included. The bike rise to woodsman point is about 45-50 minutes gentle ride, just make sure you turn left at the old power station and then right before the railway line. Lots of cafes etc along the way.

Parking almost impossible. Technically 1hr free but never any spaces (go round n round). Need a visitor centre where visitors in vehicles can park to access info. Or spaces with 15-20 mins parking. I only wanted a trail card to do sculpture trail but had to give up as couldnt access.

A true visitor information center - lots of brochures, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and located in the heart of the city. Not much you can do to improve this...except for maybe free gelato for all foreigners who stop in!

My fiance and I went to the Visitor's Centre yesterday to hire the free rental bikes and hopefully get some advice on what to do.

We spoke with Trish who was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and helpful. She took a lot of time to give us an in depth run down of the Fremantle and broader Perth area and things to do and see. We were very grateful of her patience and kindness when assisting us and answering our questions.

We'll be returning to the Visitor's Centre to hire the bikes again (as they're free!) and pick up some more information on our next trip...

Ask Alan - he’s the perfect man for an information centre. He’s knowledgeable from the most trivial matter to the history of Fremantle. Wish all paid workers will work like him and the world is a better place. Shoutout to Alan and all the volunteers of Fremantle Visitors information Centre and all the volunteers in the world who give their time willingly and show true passion in...
