Well this was meant to be a great family trip away, not that enjoyable. Good friendly greeting on arrival however was taken back by the wifi statement “we can’t guarantee for all cabins”…. Yup that’s right, wifi available but not for all which was never stated prior & super great with young kids & the rainy weather for the first few days. Tried games room but half was broken or out of order, no dvds on offer of you didn’t get wifi so not much to do when stuck inside!
Room was ok, nice & quiet for mid week & was neat but an issue with ants. Old outdated appliances & the beds were horrible. Don’t like feeling springs in my back! The day before checking out we requested to check out later by 1-2hrs to allow out out of routine 3 month old to sleep as he has averaged 9:00-9:30 naps this trips. That fell of def ears by the old & unempathetic receptionist!
Wouldn’t recommend & we won’t ever be back! It may even be our last big4 park as this was beyond...

Cabin is a bit dated decor wise, however all the amenities such as the washer and dryer are new and efficient.
We stayed for a week (family of 3) and we found it had everything we needed. Lots of storage and lots of kitchen utensils, pots and pans which normally are very scarce when you stay at a caravan park.
About 10 - 15 minutes walking distance to town and 90 mile beach with a pram.
Only downfall is the toilet kept running during our stay. We were in a "garden view," cabin which is at the front of the park near the road. You can hear the traffic, so if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend trying to book a cabin further back.
Otherwise, we really...
Read moreWe were not staying here, but rather visiting with 4 family members and their partners who were. Two couples had the only two van sites and two couples each had smaller cabins they were staying in. We came for the day and were so impressed with it that I will be recommending it to others. It was very clean, the bbq facilities and amenities were spotless. We also used the games room when it got chilly in the afternoon. The two van sites had very nice ensuites, probably the best I've seen on my travels. Both the cabins we saw were well equipped, smelled very fresh and have each couple enough room to be comfortable. I am on crutches so I didn't get to see the tennis courts but four of our group played for around two hours so it was very enjoyable for them. Whiters is conveniently located but is at one end of Lakes Entrance so there's a good walk along The Esplanade to see all the things the shopping centre...
