Salty Groms Cafe, located on the Esplanade in Lakes Entrance, is a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. The cafe is small but charming, and the friendly service is always top-notch.
From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello. The staff at Salty Groms are some of the nicest people you'll meet, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They are also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to offer recommendations.
Speaking of the menu, Salty Groms offers a fantastic selection of breakfast and lunch items, as well as delicious coffee and other beverages. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast burrito, a fresh salad, or a perfectly brewed cappuccino, you'll find it all here.
Overall, I can't recommend Salty Groms Cafe enough. The friendly service, delicious food, and amazing coffee make it the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or a quick snack. If you're in Lakes Entrance, do yourself a favor and stop by Salty Groms - you won't regret it! Five...
Read morejust an FYI, we made a special trip here based on some of the positive reviews (which on second glance, are from +1 year ago) in particular regarding the vegan food offered. An image amongst these reviews shows the vegan breaky including hash brown, spinach and sausages. What we recieved for $25 plus 10% Sunday surcharge was two large pieces of toast, a serve of lacklustre house made baked beans, a tomato, a small serve of mushroom & half an avocado. Although serving size was good and food was cooked acceptably still failed to meet expectations particular when considered against the price. This might be acceptable for some but personally I was underwhelmed and would love it if establishments (not only this one) would put a little more thought and effort in if they are going to advertise a vegan dish, Vegans eat protein too! Coffee scored average marks, granola was fine. Long wait for both coffee and food on the particular Sunday we visited although this was communicated by staff. Overall would struggle to...
Read moreGreat location but unfortunately our experience wasnât good. Was hanging for a cold beer and something to eat on a hot day, so when we saw the sign saying âlicensed restaurantâ it seemed perfect. Firstly it was difficult to get staffs attention to indicate we would like a table (looking over my head, avoiding catching my gaze...) after waiting at a table for a while I went inside to be informed that we had to order at the counter. They also informed me that they didnât serve alcohol (even thought they advertised that they did) as the owners had changed and they were waiting on a license.
Thatâs was fine so we ordered two juices and asked if the gummy shark was fresh. I was told yes... when it came out it smelled like ammonia (meaning, not fresh!) and chips were over cooked. Inedible đ
