Beach House Sydney — Hotel in Sydney

We stayed in Joanna’s Lagoon Park apartment for a week in January and I cannot recommend her place highly enough.

The location is perfect, less than 5 minutes walk from the North Curl Curl Surf Club (i.e. a safe place for children to swim). There’s a row of shops 2 minutes walk away with a nice coffee shop and off license, and the 136 bus runs every 10-15 minutes to either Dee Why (15 minute walk) or Manly in the other direction. There’s a lovely green space in front of the house, which also has pretty beach views.

The apartment itself contains two generous double bedrooms with lots of storage space, a spacious shower room and an open plan kitchen reception. It was immaculately clean and the beds and sofas very comfortable. All the facilities you may need are available, from a washing machine to a dishwasher, toaster, kettle and even a smart coffee machine. Joanna popped down with a few extra pods for us when we mentioned we were low, even though the apartments are self catering.

Our stay was really made by Joanna herself who was an absolute pleasure and always happy to help. Lots of little touches really made the difference, from the bowl of fresh fruit and chocolates awaiting us on arrival, to her offer to let my niece and nephew use her water slide on a scorching hot Australia Day. We also made use of the free zoo passes, and Taronga Zoo was fantastic.

A wonderful week and I hope to be back. Family visiting Sydney at the same time were also very impressed with the apartment. I hope to see some of them and other friends planning on going to Oz staying here when they do.

We stayed in the 1-bedroom apartment in Tango Avenue Dee Why and we really enjoyed it! The apartment is located on the back of the house and is therefore very quiet with the sounds of nature only. We appreciate the privacy we had and quick response when needed, it gave us the comfort and piece of mind. The place is spacious enough for two people, bright, clean and well equipped even for a long stay. The great bonus is a lovely little garden space with sun deck and sheltered place for dining and having rest where you walk in directly from the living room. It expands the apartment and connects the interior to the nature and open air. We considered it as another room. The communication with Nicky was excellent and friendly all the time and we appreciate her patience with overseas payment. One of our goals for a stay in Sydney was to see the Tasmanian devil at Taronga Zoo and thanks to the tickets we could borrow from Nicky for free we managed it even at no cost! At Tango near the beach apartment we found a truly home away from home! Thank you Nicky and guys in the house! P.S. This is a rare find holiday rental and we were very fortunate to stay in this wonderful beach house for 10 days in February. It has a view of the beach and lagoon and is in a perfect location within easy walking distance to North Curl Curl beach. The apartment had everything we needed, including toys for the children. Joanna was the best host, warm, friendly and extremely helpful. We stayed with 2 young children, the oldest who learned how to climb a tree located in the front garden. There is a children's play park right opposite the apartment and the boys loved climbing on the large rocks on the beach.
