The Busselton Motel — Hotel in West Busselton

We got here yesterday afternoon and are leaving tomorrow and for the price, it is very reasonable. Very clean rooms. Only things that I don't like is that the HDMI ports on the TV recognised that something was plugged in, but no picture shows and the wifi is super slow (speed tested and is only 600kb/ps) which is annoying as the optus signal in Busso at the moment is super slow as well. We locked ourselves out at 2am in the morning as we forgot the doors lock behind you. Having no phone as they were in the room we drove down to the phone box down the road and called the after hours number. The man who answered (very quickly might I add) was very friendly considering we had just woken him up very early in the morning and was at the motel within 5 minutes to let us in. You rarely get this service elsewhere unless the owners/managers live on site. The lady at reception was friendly and welcoming as were one of the cleaners when we locked ourselves out again (thankfully during the day this time). We would definitley...

Everything is ok. Hot showers, tidy and clean room, good location. Only thing is the service. The aircon remote was out of battery. Receptionist, young blonde girl was racist and lied to me that the aircon remote does not run on batteries, it's just the way it is, apparently I have to remove the remote from the wall and the lightness on the remote will become darker! 😂

It says clearly behind the remote that it runs on x2 AAA batteries! I didn't want to argue with her I went back and told my husband to sort it out. He took out the batteries and just went to reception and said hey I need new batteries, the young girl looked very annoyed and took x2 new AAA batteries from the drawer.

Please don't be racist and just do your job and everyone...

Been here a few times now. I'm talking a few years ago so going off that. Booking is easy (hint ring them and book, don't go through stayz because they take too big a cut from this business)||Rooms are oldish (probs 80s) but everything is clean. Carpets are new, beds new, the aircon is freezing, the shower is hot but if you want convenience and cleanliness, this is your place. You can park your car right outside your room.||||Location is AMAZING. Right opposite one of the finest restaurants in Busselton.
