The Busselton Art Society (BAS) is a NFP membership based arts group. The premises is set amongst the art precinct on Queen St in the city centre. The BAS building is heritage listed and very close to Art Geo and the old courthouse gallery and gift shop. The BAS gallery is the lesser known but definitely worth a visit. The Art (mainly paintings) is all by local artists and exhibition run constantly throughout the year so whenever you go there, expect to see a variety of painting genres, styles and subjects. The pricing of the art is affordable and you are always welcomed in by the friendly volunteer artists who work there. Also, you’re likely to see an artist or two in the workroom actively painting.
