We were welcomed with a warm greeting from the lady owner and shown to our table. There is a TV that shows an Indian music channel which was nice. There's beautiful artwork and murals depicting Indian culture on the wall, along with a beautiful Ganesh over the door. The vegetable bhaji's were huge and crispy and the mint chutney for dipping was nice. The almond mango chicken curry was sweet with a nice thick creamy cashew gravey. It had a nice hint of cardamom. The South Indian chicken curry melted in your mouth and was full of flavour. Both curries came piping hot and had generous amounts of chicken in them. We ordered a crispy poratta and the new sweet naans which were stuffed with a lovely sweet filling. The chicken dosa was lovely and crispy and the chicken pieces were huge and had lots of flavour. Everything was made fresh to order. I would definitely recommend coming here if you like authentic Indian cuisine.

We visited Spice Odysee for lunch and dinner on 29th August, 2023. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good and tasty Indian food. Service: By the time we reached there it was already near closing time, but the restaurant staff n chef were kind enough to accommodate us. Service was quick and excellent. The chef, staff and their family were very friendly. Ambience: The place is neat and tidy. The restaurant ambience is beautiful, decorated with Indian traditional art forms and paintings. Restrooms are clean and functional. Food: The taste, portions and flavours are excellent. We tried most of the dishes and were never disappointed. Special mentions, chicken dosa, south Indian chicken curry, coconut rice and naans. Must try - vanilla ice cream with carrot halwa. Great food, service and ambience. I will definitely visit again. One of the hidden gems in busselton.

I travel down to Dunsborough quite a bit and I always stop off into here for a curry on the way home! Or if I’m in busselton chances are I’m coming here for dinner! I’ve been in Australia for years and this is easily one of the best places I’ve had a curry! Vegetable bhajis are spot on, the madras is my favourite but the butter chicken is equally as good! The vegetable dosa are amazing and very filling. Being English I like to think I know a good Indian restaurant and curry, I’m very fussy when it comes to Indian food. The ingredients are fresh , the taste is always beautiful and it’s never greasey. Do your self a favour don’t bother with any other Indian restaurants in the south west, best curry by a mile! The chefs and owners are great too, always greet you with a smile and ask how your doing too See you very soon 😂

We were very excited to visit this restaurant as someone said that they enjoyed the most authentic South Indian cuisine in WA. However, on our visit on 19 September, the expectation was not met.

The Indian lady’s service was nice so I didn’t wanted to give one star.

I have visited most of the states in India, all in south India, and I was excited to finally taste those punchy vibrant South Indian flavours - but from what we ordered, we weren’t able to get that.

The bajji was not bad, but lacked in flavour and the mint chutney lacked in freshness - was quite creamy and not punchy.

The chilly idly was good in flavour, however the spice level was incredibly mild (did not match the spice level chart on menu).

Paneer tikka masala was ok, but was very very sweet. (Added some chilli sauce from the kitchen to eliminate the sweet taste a little bit).

What was really disappointing was the fish curry. The fish had an overly pungent flavour, and texture was off. I’m not sure if the fish was fresh or not… we couldn’t actually eat any of it.

Maybe the dosas were good we may have ordered the wrong dishes - but being this close to the water and for the price I would’ve hoped for...

The Hidden Kitchen is a true gem and an absolute must-visit if you’re looking to enjoy authentic South Indian food. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home.

We tried a range of dishes and every single one was a hit. The paneer dosa was perfectly crisp on the outside and loaded with flavour. The vada and idli were incredibly soft, fresh, and served with delicious chutneys and sambar – just like you’d hope for in a proper South Indian breakfast. The masala dosa was packed with flavour and the set dosa was soft and comforting – both are definite must-tries!

A big shoutout to the kitchen team – they’re not only talented but also super friendly, engaging, and full of energy. You can feel the passion they have for what they do. Thank you, Anna, for making us feel so welcome and for the great conversation – you really made the experience special!

The food, the atmosphere, and the people all come together to make this a place we’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming South Indian...

Went tonight the food was wonderful. The Chefs Lamb Samosas were one of the best things I’ve ever had. As soon as you cut into the hard crispy pastry you are struck with the herby lamb mince. Although I asked for the South Indian fried chicken, I received a curry but I believe it was the South Indian curry (which I understand the mistake) it was delicious. The only reason this review is so low is due to the service. My friends and I had two young girls wait us and they were quite rude. One of the girls brought us our coconut rice and smacked it onto our table and didn’t say a word and then walked away when we said thank you, they then proceeded to look at the other girl and they laughed right in front of us. Then later on they both watched us eat and laugh front the entry to the kitchen. When my friends and I went to pay at the front counter the girl was very rude and obnoxiously asked if we’d like our receipt then handed it to us and said did you enjoy the food which we said yes it was amazing and then she said BYE. The food was great but I’d rethink your...
