Highly recommend this motel. I stayed in one of the motel rooms.||The room was spacious, with a table and chair, a desk, kitchenette (sink, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery etc). The bathroom was compact, with the toilet squished between the wall and shower. The shower itself was of a good size, but had a problem with leaking when on (which affected the water flow) - I reported this and I hope it's been repaired. ||The aircon was effective, with a sleep mode for quiet function. The door had a security chain, and one lock. A peephole (with cover) would have been a good addition. The bed and pillows was very comfortable. ||There was some noise from guests outside into the evening (a Friday and Saturday night), but it wrapped up by 9-10pm. ||The carpark situation is good, with spaces in front of the motel rooms, and secure gates. The gates need be checked as they make quite a bit of noise when opening and closing - which is clearly audible from the rooms with everything closed.||The location is a short walk from the main streets of Busselton, a supermarket,...
Read moreI had to change hotels due to a mistake made by the staff. My friend and I have had a few failed attempts at talking to the staff at Busselton Jetty Chalets about the fact that we are getting charged $59 a night more at Gale St. When we arrived from BJC to Gale Street Accommodation I went to have a shower and I noticed about 10 little cockroaches scurrying on the floor. I squashed them, worked out how to use the shower which needs repairing and I went to heat up my hot chocolate. I noticed that there was a cockroach in the microwave. Then I moved the microwave and 5 or 6 more scurried out. I couldn't use the ceiling fan because it rattled. Luckily I had bought a cheap fan from Kmart so I used that instead. Then this morning my roommate went to have a shower and i went to wash my strawberries and there was no water. Then I spotted a larger cockroach on the bench which I squashed and took a photo of. Here it is for your...
Read moreI stayed there for two nights. The staff were really helpful as we were checking in after hours. They made sure to contact before we arrive and gave clear instructions. You collect the keys from the security box. The rooms were equipped with basic needs like kettle, cups, plates and cutlery if you needed them. It’s pretty handy that you could dim the lights according to your mood. They also have a closet providing iron and ironing board in the room. Parking is in front of your room and the access is a one way entry. Overall stay was comfortable and pleasant and I’d definitely...
