Rooms are getting quite dated. Mold in bathroom and our shower flooded the first night, we told reception right after and we were given the option to be moved to a different room or get the shower drain cleaned and unblocked the next day. The fridge and aircon in our room was unfortunately so loud that’s all you pretty much hear throughout day and night. Unless you’re not sensitive to sounds or like white noise then be mindful of this 😂 We got a room facing towards the city - unfortunately this side gets quite hot during the day as the sun faces the building directly on that side. AC seemed like it was struggling during the day because of this but then gets super cold at night :) One of the reasons I ended up booking my this place is because of the kitchen. Unfortunately, they have very limited resources. In our Executive Studio there were only 2 sets of everything (plates, cups, cutlery). They have only pots and pans, some cooking utensils, a packet dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, small sponge and 1 tea towel. There are some salt and pepper packets with the coffee and tea sachets but otherwise that is all you have for cooking. It’s pretty bare and basic. It also looked like the fridge wasn’t properly cleaned from previous users. Other things were just little stains on the blanket and that they didn’t change our bedding during the room servicing/cleaning. I don’t know if there was meant to be a sign we had to hang on the door to ask for a proper clean up but I don’t remember seeing one in the room. We also had issues with the TV i terms of streaming. We did screen mirroring the first night but we were able to get help from reception to use the casting function. Overall, it was one of the cheaper hotels available - it’s not great but it’s not bad/horrible. Location wise, it’s not bad as it’s about a 5 minute uber/drive or 15-20 min walk into the city. There’s also a bar and a bottle shop (albeit very expensive bottle shop) downstairs. All of our experiences with reception throughout our stay though was great and they were all very helpful.

A great CBD location right below Kings Park. A short 2 minute stroll from the Mount Hospital so perfect if you are visiting for medical reasons. Rooms a well appointed apartments , with everything you need to self-cater. An on-site free laundry room which includes dryer facilities is a great bonus if you are staying for several days. The staff are excellent , polite and communicate punctually when organising any additional requirements. The frequently smiles from the reception desk through to house keeping add a warm touch to your stay. If you are needing an inner city location for either personal or corporate needs , the Quest on Mount will not disappoint.

We had booked a one-bedroom apartment specifically because it advertised an in-room washing machine and dryer, which I had planned to use at this point in our interstate holiday. Upon entering our allocated room, we discovered that we had instead been given an accessible one-bedroom apartment with no washing machine or dryer. We immediately contacted reception regarding this issue and were informed that our originally allocated room had an electrical maintenance issue. It is quite disappointing that we were not informed of this change at the time of check-in. Instead, we were advised that we could take our laundry to reception or use the shared facilities on level 1.We had specifically chosen this hotel for the convenience of in-room laundry facilities, and the room change significantly impacted our stay. Additionally, the bathroom in the room we were given had a constant bad smell, especially when the shower was turned on, and the shower curtain was mouldy along the bottom. This further detracted from our experience.Days before the booking, I received a pre-check-in form via email to fill in. It showed an accessible room, which I questioned with the hotel but received no response. This indicates that the hotel was aware of the issue before our arrival and did not inform us, which would have been helpful as we could have made other arrangements. Not to mention we were not informed of this during check in, or offered any form of compensation for the room change.I have contacted the hotel about this twice in the 2 weeks since our stay and have still not received a response. Overall, the lack of communication from this hotel is very...

Nothing worked during our 4 days stay. It first started with the washing machine in our room. It looked like it had been broken for days as it was beeping when we arrived. We managed to turn it completely off to stop the the beeping. We requested the machine to be fixed and it was just one excuse after the next. During the day the staff were too busy to fix it and during the evening no one was available. This went on for our whole stay. Secondly, the heating in the room didn’t work. Similarly, on requesting for this to be rectified we had the same excuses. We literally slept in the cold for 2 nights until finally they found us another room. I wouldn’t normally complain about the hearing in the room but at the moment the temperature has dropped down to 5-6 degrees at night in Perth. Thirdly the house keeping does not come everyday. Although it is advised that our rooms are to be cleaned everyday this did not happened. There was literally one occasion where I heard the house keeping staff said “we will just mark the room as cleaned” without cleaning when referring to our room. Our room was cleaned half the time during our stay. The staff were friendly enough and were happy to listen to our problems, but just could not and were not able to help with our basic needs and the basic function for the room. Considering, the price we paid for our stay,, I expect the room to be functioning at the very least. Only 1 star for me and would pick a 0 star if that option...
