Brickbats to Channel 9 for the interruption of their scheduled program on a Thursday afternoon so that we might all watch the riveting BREAKING NEWS of the Premier, Mark McGowan addressing state parliament about the state budget. This was then followed by at least half a dozen advertisement before returning to the scheduled program without any continuity of the program (ie, not returning to where the program left off). What a joke! It’s little wonder that Channel 9 has a relatively low viewership. Whilst the state budget is important, it can be reported in a scheduled news program. Read moreChannel 9 is a very popular station and one which appealed to me for some years because of its subtitles and my deafness. Unfortunately, the subtitles are now not well controlled, not streaming as previously but just remaining stuck on the one sentence unless I switch to another station and then return to Channel 9. This is a process throughout the afternoon shows and I have now become very frustrated and moved on to different channels. Please correct this situation so that I may return to Channel 9 and watch Millionaire Hot Seat and Tipping Point before the News Progs and Current Affairs. Thank you....
Read more26th January. Australian open on channels 9 90 91. Not interested in tennis so decided to watch MASH. 20 minutes into episode for no known reason they go to the tennis. Why if we wanted to watch tennis we would have watched on other channel. Was only presentation and bs commentators. Changed channels. Phoned nine expe ting to speak to someone in Perth but got Sydney. He had no explanation other then tennis is our priority at this time of year. I exept that tho i do not see why you need 5 channels showing...
