Le Chocolat — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

This place was recommended by a friend who lives in Bahrain & indeed this is a must visit when you will visit Bahrain.

The moment I came inside the ambiance is relaxing . I came for late lunch so I ordered some beef & rice & a shrimp for the appetizer. Nothing special with the crispy beef & the shrimp its normal however the portion is generous. I couldn't finish the entire meal.

And to the dessert part ( which I was so excited about) since been craving for sweets for days now. I tasted the nocciola icecream but I didn't like it so i opted for the classic chocolate icecream & its nice , not to sweet. I wanted to try all really but I cannot eat it all so I tried the strawberry pistachio forest cake & i love it. I am not a fruit lover but its so good & the server was even kind enough to write something for me , its so sweet & cute . I think this is what the place is really famous for. I am definitely coming back with friends next time so we can order all the cakes & I can take a bite of all ( its sad to eat alone really 😬) & I think their breakfast menu will be awesome too

I was there for a casual lunch with a friend during Eid AlAdha break(June 2024). Plenty of parking available so that’s sorted. We were greeted with a bright smile by the staff member who guided us with seating options. They have good number of tables for both small and large groups. We ordered Crispy Beef with Black Pepper Sauce to start with. The beef was crispy and the veggies were just fine. I believe a sauce on the side would complement the dish better as fried beef with just plain rice makes it dry. Then it was time for LeChocolat Spl. Pizza, this was a traditional Italian style firewood pizza. It was really delicious and worth it. For drinks, I got Pina Colada which was okay. I think menu has very limited options for mocktail, more options for shakes and juices. And last but not least, we got Chocolate Fudge and oh boy it was one of the finest I have ever had. Just Wow! Not too sweet, not too bitter…just perfect chocolate. Service was nice and quick. Ambience is good with French Interior, calm and relaxing and not too overloaded with royalty.
