Do NOT even bother. Sad but true. Happened a few hours ago:... I wanted to check out their gym since I heard its open 24/7. I simply wanted to park, and the very very smart gentleman in the security room will not let me park. He says "show me your room key?!" I repeatedly told him I have to go to your reception first, to get you my room key. I asked him how do I get out of my car in this crowded area... He told me to give it to valet. I kindly told him, no one drives my car expect me. Now where do I park. He said he does not know, and wouldn't allow me into the basement parking. He simply told me to go to the Drop Off point of the hotel, which is RUBBISH. The 4 parking spots are taken by two lambos. Each lambo taking 2 parking spaces... And the drop off point has an area to valet, and a drive-by area on the left. The drive by area on the left is COMPLETELY closed, it turned into a permanent parking spot for around 6+ cars. And they have cones and chains surrounding this parking area (which is originally meant for Drive by.) So... I had to wait around 20+ minutes just to pass this Drop off point because the drive by zone is completely blocked. I go back to the guy at the security point of the basement parking area. He tells me if there is no parking out there, then I cannot help you... This is how stupidity takes over some people... One person staying a night for 40 BD +-, is allowed to park wherever he wants. But someone willing to pay around 800 BD+ for a yearly mem. at your gym, is not even allowed to park, in order to see your gym? Thanks, but no thanks. Trained in 80% of the popular gyms in Bahrain, and dozens abroad, and this was my first time to encounter such highly educated people. I do not even want to see this Gym. Funny part... Isn't Westin supposed to be a chain linked to Marriott Hotels? If this is how you treat a customer, a big X on Marriott. Never staying at any of your...

I have just spent 10 days at the Westin, and the trip exceeded all expectations.

This is a staff who are not afraid to be real people. They are not over subservient or too ingratiating like in some hotels, but show confidence, initiative and personality. Collectively they made my visit a joy, and the management are to be congratulated for encouraging such personable and sophisticated behaviour.

There are many people to thank.

First Rajesajar and Amar - the room attendants who went beyond what was needed and organised my life and not only my room.

Nandy and Pratap in the events team. Our event ran smoothly and they were exceedingly attentive to all our needs. Your generosity (and pride in your work) was appreciated.

Thanks to all the chefs for lunch and breakfast, and the team: Narada, Sydney, Tomer and Ailene, Chef Tariq. I could not have asked for more from any of you. I felt so well looked after.

Thanks to Ceejay, Usman and Winona in the lounge - always helpful, always good-natured and always ready for a chat.

Thanks to Nina and her team for arranging a special evening for my colleague: Chef Bassim, Chef Habibu, Rishi, Aanand and Jessa.

Thanks to Adnan in Guest relations - I appreciate your hard work, and Jaber in concierge - service with a smile and a chat.

The front desk staff are helpful and friendly without exception. All requests are treated seriously and with an open heart. I am not always the easiest guest, and you were always accommodating, cheerful and made your hard work look easy. Mr. Ahmed - your staff are a credit to you.

Finally, thanks to all at the spa and pool: David, Derrick, Mr. Fernando, Flavi, NI, Supria, Shiela and Ameera - thanks for helping me out every day.

The food, service and rooms are all excellent, and everyone went an extra mile to cater for my vegan quirks.

Thank you to all. I hope to...

As a Marriott Bonvoy member I have been to several hotels expecting a certain level of service, cleaning and maintenance of the rooms and simply being professional and respectful. Which is why I booked in this hotel plus its convenient location. However, the experience was not at all what I have expected , it was in fact very disappointing! From the beginning we informed the receptionist that we would like to park our own car and to please let the security staff to open the parking garage but when we got there the employee had no idea what we were talking about and was rude and uncooperative! Then after waiting for him to call the receptionist and for them to get back to him they finally allowed us to park in the hotel we paid for! Second strike, was checking-in after waiting at least an hour and a half only to find the room below average! And the bedsheets and covers not even clean! As you can clearly see from the pictures this was actually how we received the room!! Usually after a bad situation with any of the hotel services or staff, they compensate you but in our case we got rewarded by a dirty room :) Again super disappointed and definitely first and last time here in this hotel!

I recently stayed at this fine establishment, and while there were some great aspects, a few areas could use improvement. **Pros:** The service at this hotel is outstanding. From the moment I checked in, the staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to assist with any request. Their hospitality truly made the stay more enjoyable and created a welcoming atmosphere throughout. **Cons:** However, the rooms are quite small, which might be a downside for those who prefer a bit more space. Additionally, the windows in the rooms cannot be opened, which can make the room feel a bit stuffy, especially if you like fresh air. **Room Service:** The room service left much to be desired. I ordered a Caesar salad, which was unfortunately drenched in sauce, making it overwhelming and unappetizing. The burger I tried wasn't great either—it lacked flavour and quality. If you're someone who values good in-room dining, you might find yourself disappointed. In summary, while the service at le meridien is top-notch and the staff goes above and beyond, the small room size, lack of window ventilation, and subpar room service could detract from the overall experience.

Exceptional customer service. I couldn't figure out how to change the ac bc it was stuck at 17c and I was freezing, they came up twice to help me adjust it plus the housekeeping went above and beyond to supply extra nespresso pods! The housekeeping took a long time to (430pm) clean our room but he was working alone so maybe that's why. I loved the breakfast, huge variety, Fresh and delicious. The lunch at ur restaurant was available during Ramadan which I appreciated as I'm not Muslim and was starving!! The guy in the lounge was also soooo nice and went out of his way to be sure we had drinks and anything else we needed. They had a nice hot dinner each night with fresh pressed juices. The bed was very comfortable and the suite was modern and huge! I would recommend and stay here again. Ps. It's attached to the best and largest, City Center mall.
