Hotel Ocean Palace · 3-star hotel near Laboni Beach · Along with a restaurant, this hotel has 24- hour room service and concierge services. A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis. Facilities provided inside a hotel room may range from a modest-quality mattress in a small room to large suites with bigger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a refrigerator, and other kitchen facilities, upholstered chairs, a television, and en-suite bathrooms. Small, lower-priced hotels may offer only the most basic guest services and facilities. Larger, higher-priced hotels may provide additional guest facilities such as a swimming pool, a business center with computers, printers, and other office equipment, childcare, conference and event facilities, tennis or basketball courts, gymnasium, restaurants, day spa, and social function services. Hotel rooms are usually numbered (or named in some smaller hotels and B&Bs) to allow guests to identify their room. Some boutique, high-end hotels have custom decorated rooms. Some hotels offer meals as part of a room and board arrangement. In Japan, capsule hotels provide a tiny room suitable only for sleeping and shared bathroom facilities.

The precursor to the modern hotel was the inn of medieval Europe. For a period of about 200 years from the mid-17th century, coaching inns served as a place for lodging for coach travelers. Inns began to cater to wealthier clients in the mid-18th century. One of the first hotels in a modern sense was opened in Exeter in 1768. Hotels proliferated throughout Western Europe and North America in the early 19th century, and luxury hotels began to spring up in the later part of the 19th century, particularly in the United States.

Hotel operations vary in size, function, complexity, and cost. Most hotels and major hospitality companies have set industry standards to classify hotel types. An upscale full-service hotel facility offers luxury amenities, full-service accommodations, an on-site restaurant, and the highest level of personalized service, such as a concierge, room service, and clothes-ironing staff. Full-service hotels often contain upscale full-service facilities with many full-service accommodations, an on-site full-service restaurant, and a variety of on-site amenities. Boutique hotels are smaller independent, non-branded hotels that often contain upscale facilities. Small to medium-sized hotel establishments offer a limited amount of on-site amenities. Economy hotels are small to medium-sized hotel establishments that offer basic accommodations with little to no services. Extended stay hotels are small to medium-sized hotels that offer longer-term full-service accommodations compared to a traditional hotel.

Timeshare and destination clubs are a form of property ownership involving ownership of an individual unit of accommodation for seasonal usage. A motel is a small-sized low-rise lodging with direct access to individual rooms from the car parking area. Boutique hotels are typically hotels with a unique environment or intimate setting. A number of hotels and motels have entered the public consciousness through popular culture. Some hotels are built specifically as destinations in themselves, for example casinos and...

It was good stay with nice specious room. the location is at prime areas of co'x bazar, now with all the international presence in cox'sbazar due to the Rohingya crisis, working in different areas, all hotels are quite busy and full during this season. ||||we stayed two nights and ot was all good. but the hotel service really need to improved, during my check out time though we informed the bellboy that we will go to the airport and need a vehicle support, he was rude and really impolite telling us that we are two minuted late as the shuttle left right at 3.50PM!! they even did not bother to help with our luggage or even asking us if need any support in getting public transport. he never bothered to ask anything. ||||In another point, one family with the infant child were complaining at the front desk that, even after informing the desk that they will be late to check out by half an hour, the front desk officer, called them and rudely ask them why they haven't checked out at it was 10 pass 12 in the noon and officially the check out time is 12.00 noon.!||I was quite shock and then experiencing the same rude behaviour in the afternoon. decided will not stay in this hotel and will not have any corporate...

Excellent Accommodation at a Reasonable Price in Cox's Bazar. The Ambience will captivate you.

In Cox's Bazar, it is quite uncommon for people related to tourism to be thus friendly. It's also rare that the food is excellent. But it's Different for Hotel Ocean Palace. Remember The price is quite high for Food, but you won't regret.

With Bangladesh and the current state of Cox's Bazar lodging, they aren't entirely incorrect when they claim to be a 3-Star Hotel (☆☆☆).

Additionally, Divine Eco Resort is directly across from the beach, which is only 7-8 minutes' walk away From Hotel Ocean Palace.

Weekdays are a great time to enjoy the beach because it is less crowded. The area and roads are sufficiently safe because Ocean Paradise is directly across the street which is a Prominent 5-Star Hotel (☆☆☆☆☆) here in Cox's Bazar.

Walking to Kolatoli Junction takes only three to four minutes. Hence, there will be no trouble using the bus or other forms of transportation.

In General, This Hotel from Cox's Bazar "Hotel Ocean Palace" is Highly recommended for People who are looking for a Great Place to Stay at Cox's Bazar a Reasonable Price.

N.B.: Pictures Added are Sea View from My Balcony....

Good 3 star hotel near Kolatoli beach.Very clean hotel but unfortunately in one of our room we found ants. Some of the upper floor rooms have good sea view.A tea maker in the room would be nice.Their restaurant food is very tasty. We loved their vorta item, daal and loitta fry.Their free breakfast was also good but i would like to draw attention of the hotel management that during breakfast time one of the staff asked us to pay for our 4 years old kid and several times he was telling every guest to take only one piece of egg.We frequently travel to many places but this is the first time we had to face this type of situation. The staffs should know how to deal their guest and also their reception staffs should be more cordial to the guest.
