Here is a balanced 250-word review for Shalik Restaurant, incorporating the note about prices being a bit high and suggesting they be lowered: I recently visited Shalik Restaurant and overall, it was quite an enjoyable experience. The ambiance is welcoming and tastefully decorated, offering a comfortable setting for casual dining or small gatherings. The staff were attentive and courteous, making the service smooth and pleasant throughout my visit. The menu features a variety of dishes showcasing authentic flavors, with particular highlights being their signature kebabs and biryani, both of which were expertly prepared and rich in taste. The ingredients felt fresh, and the presentation was appealing, reflecting a high level of culinary skill. However, I found the prices to be noticeably on the higher side compared to similar establishments in Dhaka. While I appreciate that quality comes at a cost, the current price point might be a bit steep for regular visits. A slight reduction or more value-oriented options could attract a broader customer base and improve overall accessibility.

Shalik is a neat little food haven parked right beside Dolphin Chattar—basically a stone’s throw away if you have good aim and questionable manners. Their food? Absolute madness (in the best way possible). I’ve hit them up at ungodly sehri hours, sleepy breakfasts, desperate-for-lunch afternoons, and even “I swear this is my last cheat meal” dinners—and not once did they disappoint my very dramatic taste buds. Their menu is like a food festival that never ends. One day you’re having a deshi classic that makes you nostalgic, and the next you’re trying something new and wondering why you’ve been eating boring food your whole life. It’s like your stomach gets VIP access to a culinary concert. Also, shoutout to the staff—super chill, super polite, and they never judge when you order enough food for three people but insist it’s “just for me.” The vibes are great, the place is clean, and the food coma is totally worth it. In short, if you haven’t tried Shalik yet, what are you even doing in Cox's Bazar?

Went there with my colleagues and stayed adjacent to that restaurant. We went there for most of our lunches and dinners. You might think it's a bit expensive, but trust me it's value for money. I would rate most of their food items above average. We tried 'Shalik Special Fried Rice (You Should Try)'- 7/10 , 'Tondur + Halim (Worth it)' 8/10, 'Shalik Sea Food Fried Rice (A must try for seafood lovers)' - 8/10 along with other seafood items and 'Beef Khichuri (Not that good)' 5/10. They got three of their branches within few blocks and serving their customers for quite a long time. I just shared my experience. Happy Vacation.

Shalik Restaurant: Where Exquisite Cuisine Meets Exceptional Hospitality

Nestled in the heart of our bustling city, Shalik Restaurant stands as a culinary gem that captivates the senses with its delectable dishes and warm hospitality. As a frequent patron of this establishment, I have had the pleasure of experiencing the magic that unfolds within its walls time and time again. In this review, I aim to shed light on the myriad reasons that make Shalik Restaurant a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and seekers of a memorable dining experience.

Ambiance: The moment you step inside Shalik Restaurant, you are transported to a world of elegance and tranquility. The restaurant's interior is tastefully designed, with a harmonious blend of contemporary aesthetics and classic charm. The soft lighting, coupled with soothing background music, sets the perfect mood for a relaxed and intimate dining experience. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Shalik's ambiance provides the ideal setting.

Service: What truly sets Shalik Restaurant apart is its exceptional service. From the moment you are seated, the attentive and knowledgeable staff ensures that you feel welcomed and well-cared for. The servers are well-versed in the menu offerings and are more than willing to provide recommendations tailored to your preferences. This level of personalized service creates a sense of being truly valued as a guest, and it's evident that the staff takes great pride in their work.

Cuisine: Shalik Restaurant's menu is a delightful fusion of culinary traditions, expertly crafted to satisfy diverse palates. The chefs here exhibit remarkable skill in marrying flavors and ingredients, resulting in dishes that are both innovative and deeply satisfying. Whether you are a fan of traditional favorites or adventurous enough to explore new flavors, Shalik has something to offer.

One of my personal favorites is their signature dish, the "Shalik Delight." This exquisite combination of succulent grilled chicken, perfectly seasoned vegetables, and a secret sauce that's nothing short of a revelation is an absolute must-try. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, and the presentation is as visually appealing as it is delicious.

For those with dietary restrictions, Shalik is incredibly accommodating. Their vegetarian and vegan options are not an afterthought but a celebration of plant-based cuisine. The "Mediterranean Mezze Platter" is a tantalizing assortment of hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, and more, making it a fantastic choice for vegetarians and vegans alike.

Beverages: No great dining experience is complete without a well-curated selection of beverages, and Shalik Restaurant does not disappoint. Their wine list is extensive, offering a range of choices to complement your meal. Additionally, their expert mixologists craft cocktails that are as visually striking as they are delicious. I highly recommend trying the "Shalik Sunset," a refreshing blend of tropical flavors that pairs perfectly with the restaurant's ambiance.

Desserts: A meal at Shalik Restaurant wouldn't be complete without indulging in their delectable desserts. The dessert menu features an array of sweet temptations that are guaranteed to satisfy your cravings. From the rich and velvety "Chocolate Lava Cake" to the light and refreshing "Mango Sorbet," there's something to please every sweet tooth. Dessert at Shalik is more than a mere afterthought; it's a grand finale that leaves a lasting impression.

Value for Money: While dining at Shalik Restaurant is undoubtedly a luxurious experience, it is worth noting that the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and service provided. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave the restaurant feeling truly satisfied. It's a testament to Shalik's commitment to delivering value for your...

Shalik – A Tasteful Culinary Retreat by the Coast

Shalik is a delightful dining destination situated just beside Dolphin Chattar on the Cox’s Bazar–Himchari Road. The establishment offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, complemented by its cleanliness and thoughtful interior design. The seating arrangements cater comfortably to both couples and larger groups, while the outdoor decor—including a charming swing—adds a nice visual appeal and makes for great photo opportunities.

The menu is diverse and dynamic, offering everything from traditional Bangladeshi dishes to more adventurous options. Each visit feels like a culinary journey—on one hand, you're reliving familiar, comforting flavors, and on the other, you're exploring exciting new tastes that leave a lasting impression.

During my visit, I tried the Loitta Fry, Sonali Chicken Curry, Tomato Bharta, Crab Bhuna, Bhuna Choi Beef, and Coral Curry. Among them, the Loitta Fry and Bhuna Choi Beef stood out—especially the Choi, which was remarkably fresh and flavorful. The Tomato Bharta was well-prepared, and I ended the meal with a serving of custard, which was light and satisfying.

The service was another highlight. The staff were courteous, friendly, and attentive, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment. They maintained professionalism throughout while ensuring a comfortable dining experience.

One consideration for visitors is the pricing. For a complete Bangladeshi meal including vegetables, fish, and meat for two people, you should expect to spend around BDT 1,500 to 2,000. While on the pricier side, the quality of food and ambiance help justify the cost.

Overall, Shalik is a commendable spot for those seeking quality local cuisine in a clean, scenic setting. Highly recommended for food lovers looking to explore Cox's Bazar’s culinary offerings in a relaxed...

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at Shalik Restaurant. I visited with a group of five friends, hoping for an enjoyable meal, but the service we received was abysmal from start to finish.

First, the staff failed to listen to our orders properly. Despite repeating our requests multiple times, they still managed to get our order wrong. We specifically ordered calamari and tandoori, but what arrived at our table was entirely different. This kind of carelessness is simply unacceptable in any dining establishment.

Moreover, the wait time was excessively long. We sat at our table for what felt like an eternity before our food arrived. It's one thing to wait for a well-prepared meal, but the delay here was unreasonable and frustrating, especially considering the restaurant was not particularly busy at the time.

To make matters worse, the staff's behavior was shockingly poor. They were not only inattentive but also downright rude. Any attempts to get their attention were met with disinterest and, at times, outright ignorance. This level of misbehavior and lack of professionalism significantly marred our dining experience.

In summary, our visit to Shalik Restaurant was a regrettable experience marked by poor service, incorrect orders, long wait times, and rude staff. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant...
