Hotel S.A International, Cox’s Bazar — Hotel in Chattogram Division

Date of Stay: Last week of May 2025 Review Type: Hotel Scam Experience (Even During Off-Season) Room Type: 1 couple honeymoon room, and 1 connected 2-room suite.

We were in a hurry while booking and unfortunately did not get time to thoroughly check the place, which led to a disappointing and unpleasant experience. Here are the detailed issues we faced during our stay:

Poor Bathroom Condition: Most of the bathroom/washroom doors were faulty and difficult to open or close properly. There was a persistent foul odor coming not just from the bathrooms but also from the corridor, which was not maintained or cleaned properly.

Misleading AC Room Claim: Although the hotel claims all rooms are air-conditioned, in our connected suite, only the outer/common room had an AC. The inner room had no air conditioning, making it very uncomfortable.

Dirty Bedsheets and Room Preparation: When we arrived, the bedsheets and other linens were extremely dirty and clearly not changed after the previous guests. Despite complaining, they only replaced the bedsheets the next morning — and even then, some were reused and not fresh.

No Locker or Security in Almirah: The wardrobe/almirah provided in the room had no locking system. This makes it risky to leave valuable items behind, especially since you have to step out if you want proper room service.

Poor Staff Management: The hotel staff seemed very inexperienced and disorganized. There was a lack of professionalism and basic hospitality knowledge in handling guests and their concerns.

Lack of Basic Amenities: The hotel did not provide basic essentials such as air freshener or handwash in the washroom. You had to specifically ask for them, after which they would be provided reluctantly.

Misleading Breakfast Claims: They advertise a "buffet breakfast," but in reality, you’re given a fixed menu with limited items — either 2 rotis or 1 serving of khichuri with a small portion of dal, one fried egg, and a bottle of water. Even asking for an extra roti would incur an extra charge. The food quality was extremely poor, forcing me to eat outside afterward.

No Hot Water in Some Bathrooms: Several of the washrooms did not have hot water, which made it inconvenient and uncomfortable, especially in the morning.

Lift Service: Quite poor, only 5 people can come up and down at the same time, though they have 2 Lifts.

Overall Experience: The hotel was not worth the price or the promises made. It lacked cleanliness, comfort, proper amenities, and honest service. I would not recommend staying here even if you...

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel, and I strongly urge everyone to avoid it. The receptionist and the manager were incredibly rude and arrogant throughout our interaction. When I initially called to book a room, they assured me I would get one on a particular floor, but upon arrival, they outright refused to honor that promise. Instead, they tried to push us into a poorly facilitated room on a lower floor, demanding the same price.

To make matters worse, during the booking process, they refused to provide a room number, which seemed suspicious at the time but now makes perfect sense. It turns out they’re double-booking rooms and trying to shuffle guests around on arrival. It’s not just us—multiple other guests we met faced the same problem.

We were so frustrated that we had no choice but to cancel our booking entirely and scramble to find another hotel at the last minute, adding even more misery to an already terrible situation.

This hotel is run by scammers who are only interested in exploiting their guests. Their fraudulent practices and lack of professionalism are unacceptable. Save yourself the stress and disappointment—stay...

Terrible Experience - Never Coming Back!

This hotel was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, the people at the reception were extremely rude and unprofessional. They acted like they were doing me a favor just by speaking to me.

It didn't get any better at the restaurant either. The waiters were just as rude - no manners, no courtesy, no basic customer service at all. They behaved like they didn't care whether we were served or not.

And don't even get me started on the cleanliness or should I say, the complete lack of it. The place was filthy. Dirty floors, smelly rooms, stained linens - absolutely disgusting
