Hotel Sea World — Hotel in Chattogram Division

This is a three star quality hotel but my experiences in 'sea world' is always three star plus. I have been residing in this hotel for more than 7 times in last 10 years. Whenever I'm visiting Cox'sBazar, mostly I stay and visit this place. Location is awesome: simply at the heart of beautiful Laboni beach and few mins walking to sea beach. Local barmise market is less than 1 min walking away. Green coconuts, variety of foods including Chinese, Indian, Bangla, bar-b-q all are available at one place.

Good quality couple rooms, wide king size bed, neat and clean toilet, perfect air conditioner. Each room has balcony - good for cloth drying and decent views. Hot waters, cleaning really very worthy in reasonable price like around BDT 2000/-. Their best part is the restaurant and behaviour of the stuffs. As being an old customer, they always honor me 10% discount in food. Menu price is same for last few years. Very reasonable and food quality and taste definitely outstanding. Very good service in reasonable price. Food cost is around BDT 1000 per meal for group of 4 adults. There is complimentary free buffet breakfast.

Well, if I really have to listout some negative sides for a balance review: Their TV is very poor old fashion picture tube, channels are not very clear. In lobby, stair's sides are black color, not very good for proper attention. Wifi is there but may be a bit ordinary. Also mostly now-a-days you cannot see sea from their balconies as few newly developed building are blocking the view towards sea.

However, I would highly recommend this hotel as it is perfect with my needs. I am addicted...

Positive:||1.This is one of the biggest hotel in cox bazar. room size are quite big. double bed room are spacious and single bed room are a bit small.||2.they offer AC room service, but some room AC does not work. we were a group of 24 person and booked 5 room. one room AC was not working and then they changed the room.||3. Location is very near to sea beach, just walking distance.||Negative:||1.room service quality is very poor. we ask for tea, after 20 minutes they inform that tea will cost 30 taka and after placing order we received the tea after 30 minutes. one room mineral was out of stock and we asked for 1 bottle of water, but they refused to give us water.||2.they have a small swimming pool and it is another pain. for in house guest we have to pay 100 taka. they compel us pay the the money first, though we requested to credit the bill against our room. they have fridge service but you have to ask for it.||3. TV is old model, if you require LED TV please inform earlier.||4.breakfast is very limited and very basic. 1st day ruti, egg fry, dall and halua. 2nd day khachuri egg bhuna and finni and third was also like same.||||if you have stayed in Cox today , seagull or any 5 star hotel, you will definitely lose your heart at the service of Sea World.||if you think you do not required any service only for sleeping in hotel you may choose this hotel. ||you may visit webpage to get idea...

The worst hotel experience I've had in my life. Service is abysmal! Breakfast is sub standard.

On day 1 the room given was okay, but there were drilling noises from above, so I complained and the manager Mr. Masood offered us a suite to move since there will be a lot of noise in the next evening too.

Next morning we changed to our new room, shifted our luggage (which was a hassle) and left in the morning for our Cox's Bazaar tour. When we returned we found that

room telephone not working. TV not having the requisite channels balcony door not opening

All the above 3 problems could not be resolved by the staff. They had to keep a guy waiting outside our door at all times since we couldn't contact reception/housekeeping/restaurant!

Worst hotel experience ever! Please don't waste your hard earned money...
