Laurel Lakefront Hotel — Hotel in Dhaka Metropolitan

It's OK for a night and if you just need a place to park your suitcase, come home late to sleep, and leave early. Used to hotels in Thailand and the high value for money there, it's a far cry from civilisation. I would not bring my family here for sure. But then again, Dhaka is not your normal tourist destination. We had booked in Marriot Guest House but shifted to this hotel as no lift access was available in the former.Bad location ,may be due to construction activity around and cleaning going on the lake front.Staff was extremely courteous and the restaurant manager prepared food to our liking.Rooms had ne view at all as all widows were closed and barred for insects...
