Stayed at the hotel 2 times in a week during travel. This hotel is a Pakistan family run hotel. It is close to most of the attractions and good food. However, this hotel definitely need some renovations as most of the things are quite old and spoilt. There’s no drop off point for Uber or Bolt to stop in front of hotel. You need to walk from the drop off point 100-200m away. Brussels central station is around 10 mins on feet without luggage and 15 mins with luggage. Don’t try to pull your luggages and walk back from Brussels Central Station as the road was full of huge rocks and very uneven. My luggage wheel spoilt while I was trying to do so. Use an Uber or taxi instead. There’s no shelter from the station to this hotel. Good luck if it’s raining. All the room types I stayed have no aircon, only small standing fans. Make sure you have an AC room during summer. During these 2 stays, the warmers were not functioning at all, if it’s winter, I bet the room will be freezing cold. Night time, if you open the window to ventilate, you might be disturbed with either the oily smell from kitchen or noise from dog barking or people shouting outside. During our first stay in triple room, the toilet bowl was broken. We need to go to the restaurant downstairs to use the toilet. Luckily during the second stay in double room, the toilet bowl can be used. Showering is a hassle as there’s only small piece of glass blocking the water from dripping out. Both times, the toilet were like flood after we showered. The luggage storage is only free the day of your stay and the day you check out. In between, it will be 20€/ pay. Guess it is because of the space constrained? Breakfast was good and they provided sufficient stuffs that’s Halal. Highlight of the stay, the hotel staffs were quite attentive to our needs and very friendly. I left my converter during my first stay and they managed to keep until 2nd visit back there. Overall, the price for this hotel is relatively lower than other hotels in the area. I mean, you get what you paid ;)

Ok! I booked my flight to Brussels when my other plans fell through and this was wonderful! First off I wanted a hotel with a bathtub! I’m from NYC and I live in a small apartment so a nice tub when I travel is a plus. Quick note though the shower head is a handheld which is a little difficult to maneuver when you want a quick shower but it wasn’t the end of the world. So the hotel isn’t luxurious or expensive looking but the staff is great and the rooms clean and comfy. I really just needed a place to rest my head and it met all those expectations, only issue was there is construction going on in the building right across the way so that was a bit distracting but it was never to the point where I couldn’t eventually fall asleep. I will say I did have the breakfast my first day and it was fine. It was buffet style but I felt like it lacked a bit. I recommend this place if you’re a solo traveler and just need a place to rest. Walking around the city was soooo easy and the staff was always very helpful. I will def come back :)

Terrible experience. Usually, around 04:00, the rooms fill with odor from kitchen. We woke up full of seafish and meat smell. Clothes, hair and everything impregnated with that odor. Whenever we warned staff about this, they told us they could not do anything and go back to our room. Additionally, staff is quite rude and unhelpful. Everytime we asked or requested something, the answer was always the same: I dont know or I dont care. Rooms are old and not properly maintained (see the pictures). Things are usually broken or dont work. For example, the radiator from our bathroom did not work at all. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody.

I needed to stay in Brussels for one night between flights, and wanted a hotel close to Grand Place and the railway station.||I arrived at the hotel at 11 am, and, unsurprisingly, my room was not ready. The friendly receptionist held my luggage and informed me of the official check-in time at 2 pm. however, when I got back at 1:25, the room was ready and I was able to check in. I needed to pay a city tax of 4.25 EUR. Check-out would be at 11 am.||I had booked a single room, and it was very small but adequate for a one-night stay. The room was clean and fresh and seemed recently renovated. There was a comfortable but narrow bed, only 90 cm wide, and a socket by the bed for charging your devices. In addition, there was a luggage rack, a small desk and a chair as well as a safe, a fridge and a 0.5 L water bottle. Wifi was free, fast, unlimited, reliable and very easy to use.||The bathroom was minuscule, the size of a closet really, and came with a handheld shower. Water pressure was good, but it took several minutes for the water to become hot and once it had warmed up, the temperature kept changing unexpectedly, which was not very nice. The sink was too small and thus impractical. Amenities included wall-mounted containers of hand soap, shower gel and shampoo.||The toilet was in a separate minuscule closet, and as it was unheated, it was freezing cold, especially the stone floor.||Buffet breakfast, 18 euros, was served in the downstairs restaurant from 7 to 10:30. I did not try it. Otherwise, the restaurant serves Pakistani food for lunch and dinner. There are several restaurants and cafés nearby.||Reception is open 24/7 and I found all the receptionists I interacted with friendly and fluent in English. I needed to have a boarding pass printed, and that was swiftly taken care of.||The hotel enjoys a very central location, two blocks from Grand Place, a ten-minute walk from the central railway station (with an efficient train connection to the airport). There is a Carrefour supermarket on the next block, open daily from 7 am to 11 pm.||Booking early, I paid 94 euros for my one-night stay, which I suppose was more or less what the hotel was worth. However, as my stay approached, the prices went up significantly – Brussels seems to be full of weekend tourists in December. I was happy with my stay and could see myself returning should I need a quick...

One of the worst experiences with hotels in my life.

The problem was so severe that we couldn’t stay at the property at the end and had to go to another place. Firstly we come to hotel at 13-45, just to leave our luggage , then we went for lunch and returned back to hotel around 5 pm. Manager made the check-in to room 12 but asked us not to use WC for around 1 hour, because they had problem with canalization and were waiting for the plumber on the floor. It wasn’t big problem for us, so we left our stuff in the room 12, and went for city exploration. We returned back to hotel at 8-30 pm, but manager said that we couldn’t go to the room, Because the plumber is fixing something in our room 12. They told that they need 5-10 minutes. We were upset because we wanted to rest and so on, we asked if they have another room to move us - they told that they are fully booked. The head manager said that if they don’t fix our room in 15 min - they fully refund us. We waited for the time. And they didn’t fix it. But they said that they find a room for us and ALREADY moved all our stuff in that room . So in the end they lied to us and started to try give us free breakfast, which we didn’t need. It was unprofessional actions of staff . So we had to move from the hotel asked for the document that we didn’t stay in La bourse hotel for that night. I ask you for full refund for the reservation in that hotel. It’s horrible service. Our mood was ruined. After all that we reported all the situation to booking and they contacted the property: property agreed that it was their mistake and promised to fully refund the money. But they didn’t. And the booking can do nothing for our protection.

So finally, this place is horrible. They are lied several times for their customers. The don’t value their guests. Strongly...
