As an ambassador of My Tannour and really - My Tannour is life, I live in Antwerp, this is my main stop when I come to Brussels. I come to Brussels, for My Tannour (Flagey). But despite the atmosphere here is nicer - what a horrible experience!
First of all the food tasted distinctively less good than at Flagey. So there's a quality problem there. The food tasted like kitchen, not like the actually food.
They announced 25 min wait, it took 45 minutes. We got both our plates, with 5 min in between (same order?).
Then they burn something downstair and the whole place smells so bad, it's absolutely horrible. Either it's understaffed or there are bigger problems but this was so bad and again, I love MT so much. We asked for extra bread, took 15 minutes, com'on.
One time it can happen - but I am going back to Flagey and never to Bourse. What a tourist trap when you know the Flagey location....

The bread is baked in house, giving it a nice lightly burned subtle flavour that screams authenticity.
I went for the chicken, and I have to say, the flavours hit the right spots. The veggies used are fresh, the sauce is pleasant and blends in perfectly with the seasoned chicken meat that together with the bread result in an amazing food experience. The service is relatively quick and I recommend getting the...
Read moreFunny how you think you're going to a great restaurant because of all the glowing reviews (so many stars!). We saw the place and read the story behind the owner, and genuinely wanted to give it a try. Only to arrive and be greeted at the counter by a man who was honestly quite rude and clearly couldn’t care less about customer service. Then he told us that if we scan a QR code, we’ll receive a discount – which we gladly did. But the moment my boyfriend started scanning it, the man behind the counter took over and started clicking all the 5-star ratings himself. Now I understand why they have so many positive reviews… if they’re just doing it themselves. As for the food – it was okay at best, but served quite cold, which made it...
