Our first visit to Bulgaria and after reading reveiws for the Hotel Venus, we felt confident we were going to enjoy our stay, the hotel is ideally situated close to the seafront and flower street the main strip in Sunny beach but whilst all the activity, hustle and bustle is on your doorstep, the Hotel Venus is a lovely relaxing retreat to while away the days and soak up Bulgarian sun by the inviting pool. Bulgaria is definitely a country to holiday in your own style offering excellent value for money in the restaurants & bars, plenty of opportunities to unwind take in a spa, massage or sightseeing trips. A trip to the old town Nessebar is a must a total contrast to Sunny beach, you can either take the sea ferry for 15 Lev, bus for 2 lev or land train 6lev beware Taxis are not cheap. We were surprised to find no lift available in the hotel so if your mobility is impaired be aware, although they do have ground floor apartments within the grounds. Not one to share negativity but perhaps breakfast could be so much better but tea and toast surficed for us. Shout out too to the janitorial team our room was always impeccable serviced every day.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Venus, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment you step into the property, you are greeted by a stunningly beautiful garden that feels like a serene oasis. The attention to detail in maintaining the grounds is evident and sets the tone for the entire stay. The rooms are impeccably clean and offer a perfect blend of comfort and style. What truly elevates the experience at Hotel Venus is the outstanding service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every need is met, all with a warm and welcoming attitude that makes you feel genuinely cared for. The hotel’s connected restaurant is a culinary gem. The menu is diverse, offering a fantastic array of dishes that cater to all tastes, and the quality of the food is simply top-notch. Every meal was a delight, showcasing the chef’s expertise and passion for good food.

What a lovely hotel grounds are very nice. Staff are great the rooms are a bit basic but nice. The food is very nice. The cleaner is in every day she does a great job keeping it clean for us. Thank you all at the Venus. Happy customers 😀. I can only repeat what I wrote 11 months ago. What a lovely place to come and relax. Just about the perfect place to stay near everything you need at great prices 🙌

My husband, 1 yr old & I stayed here for 2 weeks in July 2014 and had a fabulous holiday! So much so that we are already booked up again for July 2015. ||||Upon arrival we were very impressed with the hotel, bad & pool area - this hotel seriously sells itself short in photos/description online! The pool/garden area is fantastic, we miss our days at the pool so much! Extremely well maintained & clean! ||||I really don't think we have ever stayed in a hotel with such friendly & helpful staff before. So accommodating and pleasant! The cocktail bar/bistro girls in particular we're absolutely fantastic with our little boy, he loved them!||||The hotel rooms are quite basic but kept clean and have everything you need. We were in a ground floor pool-facing room and really liked our room. We were not bothered in the slightest with any wildlife...despite the beautiful gardens being all around us. If I had to chose 1 negative it would be that there is no air-com in the hotel rooms, the garden villas have air-con but they are not available on Balkan Holidays! There is however a small window above balcony door that can be opened overnight. ||||The cocktail bar is fantastic and great value! Cocktails are lovely ;) The Bistro is very nice & relaxed with great food! The Elvis entertainer (Wed & Sat) was brilliant!||||The location we thought was great also. Being near the centre of Sunny Beach (Flower Street) meant we were not far away from anything. We didn't hear too much noise at nights either, nothing that bothered us anyway! The hotel was a 5 minute walk from beach (other side of Globus) and had a bank machine and supermarket across the road also. Bars & restaurants nearby we're also great - we didn't have one bad meal! ||||Can't wait...

The worst Sunny Beach hotel I've ever been. When I looked for the hotel I've read a lot of comments and most of them were positive, so I decided to go with this one.

Problems started at the very begining, the staff on reception (at least some of them) didn't respond to me with language I used for communication. When you ask question in English and got response in Russian, that is not really respectfull. Even though I said that I dont understand russian, and ask to respond in English, she proceed speaking in russian. (maybe we've faced wrong person, cause next day there was nice person with good English skills). The next thing was the room, they made up very 'smart' desicion with room for 3 persons. They just added additional bed in small room for two persons. So there was no space AT ALL. And in order to get space for additional bed, another bed was moved right under the conditioneer, and guess what, we all got sick. So general impression and vacacion was ruined only because of this hotel. And I'm not even talk about rest of things like shower, that was not seperated and without cover, so the water was everywhere in the bathroom. Noises, and yeah I know Sunny Beach is noisy place and that is totally okay, I'm talking about noises from their kitchen exhaust. The only thing you here at night when you open the window is buzz sounds of their kitchen. (Maybe we just was unlucky, and got wrong number)

Breakfasts was fine. Location is good as well, 2 mins from the sea. Wi-fi was okay as well, even though was unavailable pretty often.

I dont know maybe before 2018 it was good hotel but...

The location of this small family run hotel is great ,a two minute walk to crazy flower street yet so quiet it appears the couple of hotels in between must block out any noise, the singer in the hotels front restaurant finishes at 11pm.On our late arrival we were put in a small ground floor room at the back facing a small car park, what a disaster the cars were literally parking two foot away from the balcony. The following morning we requested a room change and without any bother or extra expense were given a larger second floor pool facing room & what a difference. For this I must sincerely thank the hotel management, it made our holiday. The rooms are adequate with a fair size balcony, enough draw/hanging space The "wet rooms"" a bit odd make sure you take toilet rolls out before u shower. Our room had no air con but some do. Rooms are cleaned daily ,towels/beds every 3rd day there is a good size fridge but need to take your own kettle .||pool and pool areas really lovely, loungers facing hotel next door get sun all day Continental breakfast so so ,Bar & food prices reasonable. Majority of staff are friendly This may not be an ideal 'family with kids hotel' as theres nowt for them to do, but that's just my opinion .Yes would stay here again ...
