The place is a bit dilapidated and not too clean, but it could have been far worse. The room they gave me as single for the price of 25 lev was spacious, with a comfortable double bed, TV, and a large balcony overlooking the high street - great view. For one night it will do. Per dieci euro a notte non mi aspettavo certo un Hilton, ma c'è un limite a tutto. Ho trovato la stanza esattamente come era stata lasciata dagli ospiti precedenti: pavimento sporchissimo, polvere e peli dappertutto, solo le lenzuola erano state cambiate. Le pareti erano tappezzate di muffa e gigantesche macchie di umidità. Ancora peggio il bagno: il wc non veniva pulito da chissà quanto e, dal momento che non c'è traccia di un piatto doccia, ogni volta che qualcuno si lava inonda l'intera stanza, lasciando i sanitari bagnati e un perenne odore di muffa. Il proprietario è simpatico, ma parla esclusivamente bulgaro: sono riuscita a interagire con lui (a fatica) perché conosco un po' la lingua, ma non so come facciano gli altri. La definizione di ostello è un tantino inadeguata perché non esistono spazi comuni. La cosa strana è che su altri siti avevo letto recensioni piuttosto positive! Inizialmente ho ipotizzato che fosse tutto dovuto alla bassa stagione, ma le condizioni della stanza farebbero pensare diversamente. L'unico vantaggio è la posizione...
