Boyko has a B&B and in the building next door he rents at least one apartment (no kitchen) were we stayed.
It was 4 of us (two couples) and stayed for two nights.
Let us start with the good things that made us give him 2 stars.
The wifi is good, the rooms were warm and he changed the towels daily.
Unfortunately the bad things were quite a few.
Starting with the car park which is a general car park in the middle of 4 buildings set as a square.
You do not have a space for yourself but he simply gets you to squeeze your car where he can. In fact when we got there we had to wait until a spare space became available.
The description of the rooms is not accurate.
When you go into the apartment you find a corridor with a shower/toilet room on the left. In front you have what can be called bedroom 1 (a bedroom with a double bed), this leads into bedroom 2 (a bedroom with 3 single beds).
Before booking I asked him about those single beds and he suggested that he would put two singles together, but when we arrived they were not together and he simply said "you can put them together if you want to".
Nowhere on the description he mentions that people in bedroom 2 need to go through bedroom 1 to go to the toilet or to go out.
Also, there is a kettle in bedroom 1 but not in bedroom 2. Again people in 2 need to go to bedroom 1 to use the kettle. No privacy.
The shower room. What to say. Small is a compliment. It must be just over a squared meter. I suggest that people should use everything before taking a shower, because after that you just get wet: slippers, trousers etc. It has a plastic curtain which just lets water out in the toilet area. The shower is difficult to regulate as the shower pipes leak. The sink is very small, cracked and with no plug. No room/shelves to put your toilet stuff. There is a small under-the-sink cupboard which is broken, dirty and no shelves. So, unusable. By the way, there is no provision for soap or liquid soap, so...
Read moreArrived with the hope that the accommodation was as good as my previous visit. A little disappointed with the state of the accommodation and obvious need for updating and redecoration. Lack of tea and coffee facilities added to our disappointment. After overlooking where we were to stay for the night we headed into town and were not disappointed by the choice despite slightly inflated prices. Beds at the hotel proved comfortable and despite the overall dismal look were clean. The morning brought a lack of hot or even Luke warm water and some of us resorted to showering in another room in the hotel as the best solution. The familiar sound of drilling stopped any extended lie in and we dressed before heading out for the day. We were thankful we could leave our bigger bags but to be quite honest the visit this time wasn't as good despite the owners help and friendly chat( in English) . Would have to think twice before returning despite the super location. If they spent a little on bringing the decor up to a reasonable standard and a bit more welcoming as well as fix the tv ( one was with a very poor picture) I may go back but came away really quite disappointed that we had ended our holiday in such a dismal...
