I had a lovely stay at the Bridges Residence hotel last weekend. It is a cozy place, and it has a style. The service is wonderful. The manager supported me in whatever I needed like guide me how to reach the hotel (the maze of old city streets was a challenge for me) and where to park, to call a taxi, to book a restaurant for dinner or a seat in the “Lights and Sound” show. Yes, even a massage in my room by a professional masseur was arranged for me. The most importantly once I arrived, they welcomed me with refreshing drinks. When I was leaving the hotel, they offered me a cup of coffee. And during the stay I felt like I’m a guess in a house of a good friend. Everything in the hotel is very well thought of and done with care. From the lobby to my room, everywhere there was a nice and soft aroma of essential oils. It turned out that there are aroma diffusers in every room, in the lobby and in the restaurant. Also, the water in the hotel is purified and is drinkable which I found pretty cool and … sustainable. There is a floor heating which is very comfy. The room was spacious, arranged with a style and a class. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay even a coffee machine with set of coffee doses. It was very pleasant when I woke up early in the morning to enjoy my first cup of coffee in my pyjamas with a book, just like home 😊. The bed was comfortable. In the bathroom there was a set of high quality Oshadhi (as are the essential oils in the diffusers too) floral water and Aloe gel, a charming refreshment for every moment of the day! And the last but not least – the breakfast! The food was very carefully selected and with high quality. There was enough choice for different tastes, and I love the most the homemade bread with olives… didn’t manage to resist it. Overall, I would recommend the Bridges Residence hotel as a unique and luxury experience in the heart of the old town of Veliko Tarnovo.
