Harmony — Hotel in Veliko Tarnovo

A very pleasant place to visit - charming, like the owners. We had a "Panoramic Room" booked but apparently there were problems with the toilet so we were offered a normal room for our first night and it didn't seem worth the hassle to move for the second. The facilities are good and the property itself has a lot of character; WiFi worked okay. We didn't take breakfast, so can't comment on that aspect.||||The "roads" up to the property are a little hair-raising as they are simply rock and very narrow, but once you get used to the idea of where you're driving it was no real problem, even for our 4x4 - we were lucky and managed to park right outside the entrance.||||As others have said, the views from the Harmony are great due to its elevated position but don't be too liberal with the dinner-time drinks in VT's restaurants as you won't get a taxi to take you back - and do carry a torch (or a torch app) for the walk back up as there are a couple of unlit parts of the rock "steps" on the way.||||Definitely an enjoyable visit and worth a return once you know how...

We approached Veliko Tarnovo from the direction of the new town, and were a little disappointed, but as soon as we found the old town and eventually got to the guesthouse, we couldn't have been more happy!||The road up to the guesthouse is terrible, true, but the owner happily picks you up and takes you back to your car. We were welcomed by a very friendly, charming lady who continued to look after us through our stay. Nothing was too much trouble.||The pool area is small but clean and very attractive. The garden is spectacular - beautifully cared for, with amazing views. The rooms were exceptionally clean and attractive. ||We paid for a breakfast, which was well priced, I particularly lived the milky coffee and my daughter enjoyed her cocoa!||The path to the town is made of rocky steps, but it isn't far to get down, and it's actually quite quaint! Not suitable for the elderly or toddlers though.| |I highly recommend this guesthouse, situated in a delightful part of town. The owners are so lovely (without being intrusive) and will make sure your stay...

First of all, The view is amazing. Our room had a view to Tsarevets and we could see the light show from our window - the host also puts good music to go with the show. The service was excellent, the owners are very friendly and they made our stay confortable. At one point, we didn't have hot water because there was another room next to us which used it all - but it was fixed in half an hour. Even so, the host offered us another room to stay in or at least use the shower from the other room, so he could fix ours. We politely declined, because we saw the hot water running in half an hour, but we found it really nice of him to do that.|The place has an amazing top terrace and a swimming pool for you to relax. |The room was clean and very cheap. Around 100 leva for 2 nights....
