BEWARE OF STAIN!!!! Check all linens first, or maybe take some photos if you found even small stains.
They will charge you for that. Had the blanket stained with blood accidentally since period for women might come early or late than expected. Blankets were left inside the room and will leave you a letter that you have to pay for 90USD. After receiving the letter, we managed to removed the stained and show it to them, but still they put charges. Checking the whole blanket after the main stain has been removed, they have then found another little stain and sayid it comes from the blood. And so, we washed it again and still managed to removed it. They still charge us from that. Charging stains even we had managed to removed it all. Confronting them about it, the supervisor/manager handled it so poorly. Instead of finding better solution, the manager still insisted us on paying although there was no more stain at all. The manager donât listen first, the guest will say a thing and so he also say together with the guest. He even followed us outside nagging since we were about to go out that day for our tour. As we checked out the following day, we didnât pay for the charges they gave us. Why pay if there is no more stain (issue) at all.
Restaurant upstairs , but some food tastes strange, not much options to choose from.
Reception and mini mart at the same place.
WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!
++++ Had experienced to got stained a blanket in a bigger hotel in Thailand than this hotel, but they never charge us nor talked to...

I recently stayed at the M9 Kirirom Hotel in Phnom Penh, and I was thoroughly impressed by my experience. This hotel stands out due to its unique combination of hotel rooms located in an apartment-style building, a 24/7 supermarket, and a restaurant on-site, which makes it a convenient choice for travelers.
The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. My room was spotless upon arrival, and the housekeeping staff maintained high standards throughout my stay. Itâs always a relief to find a place that prioritizes cleanliness.
The friendliness of the staff was another highlight of my stay. From check-in to check-out, the team was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any inquiries. Their attentive service truly enhanced my overall experience.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of staying at M9 Kirirom was the beautiful view of the river. Waking up to such a picturesque sight every morning was a perfect way to start the day. The combination of the scenic views, modern amenities, and the convenience of the supermarket and restaurant made my stay not just comfortable, but also enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend M9 Kirirom Hotel for anyone visiting Phnom Penh. The unique blend of accommodations, cleanliness, friendly staff, and lovely river views create a fantastic experience. I look forward to returning on...
Read moreAfter a lot of comparisons, we stayed for a night here before moving towards a different city. The staff is nice. However, they confirmed a non-smoking room in advance, but the first one smelled as if someone had just smoked a pack of cigarettes there. We changed, but the next one had the same smell, this time covered with a lot of air freshener. I guess many people just smoke in the rooms and, read between the lines, the staff is used to guests wanting to change rooms.
The room is spacious. Although not new, the room is in good condition. Beds are comfy enough, but the pillows are insanely huge, so it's better to sleep on some of your own clothes. You might see some bugs here and there (perhaps due to the balcony), but we did at least not see any signs of, nor encounter any bed bugs, which is the most important thing.
Location is superb. Due to the fact that the road is closed from traffic during the night, one can easily walk within the crowd, safely observing everything along the road/river. In addition, the view over the river from the balcony is very beautiful!
If you expect "luxury", you might get disappointed. But if you're a backpacker, traveling on a budget or otherwise comfortable with "a little bit less", you will most likely get positively surprised (ofc depensing on the deal you're able to get)....
