June 8th 2024 On the rivers edge - Tonle Sap River, we were fortunate to have a nice sunny day. This was a part of our tour however we were grateful of this experience with a set menu for us to dine on for lunch. Fish Skewers with Lemongrass and Khmer Salad, Khmer Chicken Curry with carrot and potatoes and stir fried mixed vegetable with cashew nut and oyster sauce. It was all delicious and of course ordered some cocktails and beers to have with this meal as well. Beautiful decor with a beautiful water feature at the end of the table that gave a very jungle vibe with moss growing all over the stone of the feature. Great location and beautiful staff that were happy to help us all.

This restaurant/cafe has a good view. And that’s it. Service rather unremarkable. But do not blame them for this poor excuse for a cafe. This is entirely the owners fault. Western breakfast. Hard, HARD, pass. I mean, c’mon. Just look at the photo. If I could give 0 star I would. For $4.75 I ordered fried eggs with chicken sausage. What I received was undercooked fried eggs, the white was more runny than cooked. The chicken sausage were no larger than a couple of grapes. And this!!! THIS FOR ALMOST $5.00. How ridiculous. The owner needs to at least google some photos of what this dish should be. Tourists, give it a miss, even if you are waiting at the bus station across the road. With the view, this place has the potential to be one of Phnom Penh’s best places to eat. Alas, greed, prevents it. The irony.

Located on the river bank near Night Market, this restaurant is truly one the top dining spots in the area. The stunning design and picturesque view create a wonderful ambiance that the overall dining experience. The delicious taste of the food combined with reasonable prices makes it a great value. The staff members are well-trained and attentive, adding to the high level of customer service. What sets this restaurant apart is the traditional dance and performances, making it a unique and must-visit destination for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience by the river.

ANTS ANTS ANTS The reason people pay extra is for CLEAN food, good view and seating. I tried the fish amok in a coconut. I honestly expected a dazzaling flavor but this was not the case. However, it was good. Now the ants part: the dish comes with a side of steam rice first two scoops it ate without examining the contents but thrid time i saw moving ants and not just one or two, i had a whole platoon roaming in the plate. The staff did offer to change it but the damage was done so i said no. They took 1$ off my bill as a compensation. I did agrue and was not planning to do so.

Walk in, it wasn’t very crowded. The ambiance is beautiful, you’ll feel like you’re in an authentic Khmer restaurant (a good difference given a lot of western restaurants in phnom phen) Fish amok was mild, balanced but was not spicy at all. Papaya shrimp salad - not a fan of the shrimp on it but the papaya was good. Pineapple chicken had a lot of pineapple in it. Fried rice was good. We ordered 2 cocktails and dessert and the bill came to $100. Felt it was on the higher price for a restaurant.

A very beautiful restaurant situated by the riverside. The view is especially romantic at night. It would be truly relaxing and refreshing if you are able to get a table by the riverside to dine in the evening. Food is local and tastes excellent. Service is very good and the staff were very attentive when you call for their attention. The food prices would be considered expensive by local standards and I would consider it acceptable by tourist standards.
