I spent 4 days in Phnom Penh and it was the worst meal. Food - 1/5 Service - 2/5 Atmosphere - 5/5
Food: The place smells amazing and you think you’d get delicious food but I was completely disappointed. (1) Falafel wrap was badly assembled, it was the worst wrap I’ve eaten anywhere in the world. Here’s why: You never get to experience all the ingredient fillings as a whole bite. Due to their assembly method, in one bite, you experience only the falafel which is almost tasteless and dry. In another bite you taste only the veggies which has all the sourness. I ate half of this and couldn’t carry on. (2) Potato side dish - smells good but devoid of salt. Just dry spiced potato. (3) Yoghurt drink - it tasted of curdled milk and salt. Couldn’t take more than 2 sips. Probably an acquired taste so can’t fault them here.
The entire food experience was just dryness after dryness and blandness.
Service: took 30 mins to get my food, and when it did come, it came all entirely at once with the different courses (sides and mains). They served dessert first. It was a weird pacing style. My water was not refilled even once. The staff is not attentive at all.
Atmosphere: The decor is beautiful, a lot of care and love was put into it.
Overall: I would never eat here again nor recommend anyone to until all their gaps are rectified. They need to be tasting their own food. I’d imagine they get a lot of one-off customers...

Read moreMy visit to Hummus House was an absolute delight, and I'm excited to share my experience. This cozy spot offers a fantastic array of Mediterranean dishes that truly stand out.
The hummus here is simply phenomenal. I particularly loved the pesto and basil hummus – it's a unique twist that adds an incredible burst of flavor. Each bite was creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The falafel is another standout item; crispy on the outside and wonderfully spiced on the inside, it's some of the best I've had.
The pita bread, served warm, was the perfect accompaniment. It's soft, fluffy, and just right for scooping up that delicious hummus. The combination of fresh ingredients and authentic recipes makes every dish a treat.
The staff at Hummus House are friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or trying it for the first time, Hummus House is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back and try more...
