I spent 4 days in Phnom Penh and it was the worst meal. Food - 1/5 Service - 2/5 Atmosphere - 5/5

Food: The place smells amazing and you think you’d get delicious food but I was completely disappointed. (1) Falafel wrap was badly assembled, it was the worst wrap I’ve eaten anywhere in the world. Here’s why: You never get to experience all the ingredient fillings as a whole bite. Due to their assembly method, in one bite, you experience only the falafel which is almost tasteless and dry. In another bite you taste only the veggies which has all the sourness. I ate half of this and couldn’t carry on. (2) Potato side dish - smells good but devoid of salt. Just dry spiced potato. (3) Yoghurt drink - it tasted of curdled milk and salt. Couldn’t take more than 2 sips. Probably an acquired taste so can’t fault them here.

The entire food experience was just dryness after dryness and blandness.

Service: took 30 mins to get my food, and when it did come, it came all entirely at once with the different courses (sides and mains). They served dessert first. It was a weird pacing style. My water was not refilled even once. The staff is not attentive at all.

Atmosphere: The decor is beautiful, a lot of care and love was put into it.

Overall: I would never eat here again nor recommend anyone to until all their gaps are rectified. They need to be tasting their own food. I’d imagine they get a lot of one-off customers...

I had the pleasure of dining at Hummus House during my visit to Phnom Penh, and I was truly impressed by the entire experience. The restaurant maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, creating an inviting and comfortable environment for guests. The food was exceptional in every way – fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and beautifully prepared dishes that reflect a genuine passion for quality cuisine. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Mike, the owner, for his outstanding leadership and warm hospitality. I would also like to recognize Khaled, the restaurant manager, whose professionalism and dedication are evident in every detail. His attentive oversight ensures that guests receive excellent service at all times. Additionally, I want to commend all the staff members for their friendliness, efficiency, and commitment to making every visit memorable. I highly recommend Hummus House to anyone seeking delicious food and impeccable service in Phnom Penh. I look forward to...

My visit to Hummus House was an absolute delight, and I'm excited to share my experience. This cozy spot offers a fantastic array of Mediterranean dishes that truly stand out.

The hummus here is simply phenomenal. I particularly loved the pesto and basil hummus – it's a unique twist that adds an incredible burst of flavor. Each bite was creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The falafel is another standout item; crispy on the outside and wonderfully spiced on the inside, it's some of the best I've had.

The pita bread, served warm, was the perfect accompaniment. It's soft, fluffy, and just right for scooping up that delicious hummus. The combination of fresh ingredients and authentic recipes makes every dish a treat.

The staff at Hummus House are friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or trying it for the first time, Hummus House is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back and try more...

Best meal I’ve had in Phnom Penh! Had the mini mixed grill. Chicken was so juicy! Lamb was good too, even if some pieces had a bit of tendon. Kafta was excellent. Loved the garlic yogurt. Went perfectly with the puffy, chewy pita. Part of the pita was thin and crunchy which I really enjoyed. They let me swap the potatoes with beiruti hummus. Loved that the hummus was full of chopped tomatoes, green pepper, onion and had lots of bite. I didn’t really like the eggplant puree. It tasted a bit powdery. Or maybe had too much tahini for my liking. I liked it better with some of their spicy sauce. The plate also had some deep fried crispy dough that was also yummy. Perfect amount of food for me. Washed it all down with a refreshing mint shake, which was mint, lime and sugar blended with ice. Got a semolina cake for later as well. Moist, chewy and tastes of rose water? A little sweet but good with my afternoon coffee.
