My family and I recently decided to go out for a family dinner at Kelseys. Once we were seated at 6:15pm, the waitress was nice and took our food orders right away. Our drinks were made fairly quick and my appetizer was quick but unfortunately the Broccoli Cheddar soup came out cold, so we asked to have it warmed. Once we received the soup and ate it, we started to wonder when we would receive our main course. At 7:00pm our waitress, Linda, came to our table to inform us she forgot to put our order in. We decided to take our order to go, because we waited long enough already. Once our order came at 7:25pm I paid and was given a $25.00 discount. Once I got to the vehicle we realized that we were charge for a side loaded fry that we ordered but didn't receive. I went back to the restaurant to speak with Linda, they provided us with $5.00 to cover the fry and as I was leaving, Linda decided to touched me on my shoulder as if she was providing comfort. At this point I was very aggravated and uncomfortable, our family wanted to go out for a nice dinner and everything was messed up and we were totally forgotten about. The last thing I need or want is some waitress touching me. Your touch is not going to make me feel better about the poor service that was provided. Linda was being overly apologetic about the whole situation, just own your mistake, provide us our food and send us on our way, our children are hungry and tired.
Last note, now we have to go home and put our two children to sleep and then eat even later at 8:30pm. Warmed up, fried food from...
Read moreI entered the restaurant and was seated by the greater at a table close the bar. I waited for 10 -15 minutes before a server came to my table. During this time the restaurant manager was standing across from my chatting personal matter with another customer. I noted that two other 3 customers came 5-10 minutes after I was seated. A server who served the 3 other customers recognised that 🤔 I was about to get up and walk away and also see that something is off. So she look at me and asked if I was okay. I said no, she came over and told that it disappointing with service 😕. I noted servers walk by my talk multiple with no acknowledgement and ignored my table for over 10/15. I ordered my beverage and appetizer, entree at the same time due to the fact that I was unsure if I would be serve for another 15 or more minutes. I asked to speak with manager. The manager came over 5 minutes I placed the order in a confrontational manner and did not allow me to speak, rather she was put words in my mouth, stated that I felt ignored, the obvious! It is concerning that this happens at a restaurant by management I was treated like I am not a human or a stranger walking in this restaurant because of my skin colour. I treated unwelcome and if I not speak up it could have been worse
The food did have any taste [shrimp) vegetables and salmon saw served on the plate sloop. Entreeand the appetizer plate left dirty in front of me while eating my salmon...
