We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an unforgettable experience, What an amazing lodge! As other reviews have mentioned, the manager Richard is absolutely phenomenal. He truly makes you feel at home, and makes sure every single need is met. You can tell he truly loves his job! We loved the different breakfast options each day and enjoyed the daily tea time. Other reviews have complained about paying for this feature but we thought it was well worth the price. The spa and gym are well-kept, the views are spectacular, and the staff are hospitable. They have DVDs you can loan, bikes you can ride, and a bbq to use if you want to cook your own dinner! No dinner on site but as Richard explains, it ensures that the lodge is a quiet experience for only the guests (no external foot traffic travelling in and out). Sun Peaks Ski hill and restaurants are a 2 minute drive or short walk away. They only provide shampoo, conditioner and body soap on request (helps to lessen waste). We were fully satisfied with our stay, thanks again Richard! *please be aware the resort is not wheelchair accessible, although there were a few people with canes who managed to get up the stairs to the upper lounge and rooms*

We took a chance and booked this blindly through our interval membership. Absolutely no regrets! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are super clean and well maintained, the views are spectacular! Our room had a nice big balcony to hang out on and gaze at the mountains in front of you. The breakfast included with the room was great! Little perks like a gym, use of snow toys, board games and puzzles in the rec room, ski lockers, and fresh fruit in the lobby! A one minute drive, 5 minute walk to the hill. About 2.5 hours from Kelowna airport, and 40 minutes from Kamloops. Free parking.

We love coming here for little family staycations. We're not big skiers so we usually come in the off season when it's very quiet. I love how this place is not like a traditional hotel and has a very casual "make yourself at home" feel. There's two dining areas with various cooking supplies, coffee and light breakfast snacks served in the morning, a cute kids play area and board games and puzzles to borrow. The hot tub is also lovely, and since we come here in the off season we had it all to ourselves in the evening. Our fav place to stay in Sun Peaks!

We got here late like at 7 30 pm and check in was done by 7 pm so someone was in the lobby and let us in. Our stay package was on the front desk. I would definitely encourage management to email the check in information the day prior for late check in because not everyone can get international calls or texts. Our room was ideal with a wrap around deck, king size bed and twin size pull out loveseat. Our bathroom was standard so single sink with counter space, a toilet and a full size tub, so know not every bathroom comes with a walk in full size shower. The television in our room was about 32 or 40" and the common space television was closer to 50 or 60". Nobody seemed to mind that we were watching a movie. They have a lot of movies of their own you can watch in an open game room with the dvds, games, puzzles, books and a computer. The breakfast was very filling and the high tea was also impressive. The highlight at the hotel was playing go fish with Amy, an employee of the hotel. The 4 stars for the location was because the drive up from the closest gas station is 20 km, but if you want more options go to Kamloops which...

The staff and especially Richard the full time manager are very personable and super friendly in a good way. Richard takes the initiative to get to know your first names and makes conversation that provides that you’re at home kind of feeling. The kitchen is not in the room, but there is a beautiful dining area with access to microwave, hot water, teas and confectionery. There is a barbecue off the dining area for you to use. The rooms have a sizeable fridge, no freezer, but there is a large freezer in the hallway for use. The public area also has a lounge area upstairs for you to invite guests and play games. It’s quiet with great access to the walking path to Sun Peaks resorts. It’s a short walk to ski day use lodge and a bus stop if you need it. The hot tub sauna, and gym were clean. I gave 4 stars for location only because is isn’t right on the hill, but perfect because it...
