Bolacco Café — Restaurant in Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality

We stopped by Bolacco Café during our trip to Sun Peaks this August, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation! The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the staff are incredibly friendly — it’s clear they take pride in what they do.

The pastries and sandwiches were fantastic (some of the best we had on our trip), they were fresh and delicious. It's the perfect place for a light breakfast, a midday treat, or just a relaxing break after hiking or biking.

Despite being small, the café was well-organized and worth the short wait. We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated how the staff took time to chat and offer recommendations.

Highly recommend Bolacco Café if you're in Sun Peaks — it's a little gem...

We were recommended this place by our Airbnb's guide book and the review sounded so good we had to check it out. Holy hannah, everything was phenomenal. The (I'm guessing) owner was so nice and accomodating, and wanted to make sure my order was perfect. I ordered a mocha and americano, and 2 fresh made cherry custard strudels (danish? see pic). The owner said if I like cherry, I'd love the strudel and he was not wrong. It was the best baked good I've ever had. It tasted like a combo of strudel, croissant and donut. It wasn't too flakey or crusty, and was perfectly baked and soft inside. I don't think I'll experience anything like that again. My husband said it was better than anything he had...

Fresh, Healthy, Delicious Food! Chillin' Vibes. Friendly staff. The Turkey BLT Sandwich had crisp mixed green, thick sliced fresh cucumber and tomato, guacamole, real cheddar cheese, and tasty bacon. Amazing!! The home baked whole wheat bun made it Epic! I'm not sure if it was pepper bacon, spicy guac, or maybe hot mustard but there was a surprising zesty kick to it.

The hot beverages seem to be competitively priced compared to nearby shops. Next time I will try the bacon, egg, and guac breakfast bagel with a matcha latte. They have yogurt fruit shakes too!
