Decent place , nice location. I paid roughly 380$ for 2 nights , then when I get there they tell me it's an additional 30$ a night for my dog, which they new about when I first paid a month prior, then another 30$ for parking and there wasn't any outside parking available, I have a roof rack on my vehicle so it doesn't fit in the underground parking. So paid for a parking spot I didn't get. I parked elsewhere and got a warning ticket. If I knew about the additional 100$ I'd be spending I'd have gone elsewhere. Both mornings I woke up at 7am to banging and crashing in the hallways , after that ended, electricians were pulling wire through the ceilings. Not a place to go if you plan to sleep in past 7am. Sun Peaks is a hidden gem in the mountains of British Columbia that I recently visited. This charming village creates a peaceful atmosphere, fantastic views and a lot of opportunities for outdoor activities. Sun Peaks pleasantly surprises with green spaces, panoramic views of the mountains and forests and clean air. What is especially nice is that the village is compact, very friendly and safe. There were quite a lot of people, but I did not feel uncomfortable. There are good restaurants, cafes, cozy hotels, free parking and many options for family recreation. The sheets were rough and scratchy making it uncomfortable to sleep on.
Pillows were lumpy.
My partner had an allergic reaction when we layed on the bed. Seems there was still animal dandruff on the comforter.
Service was non existent for the most part when I contacted the front desk about the allergic reaction and nicely asked for new bedsheets and comforter the reply was “we will try to get someone up to you tonight”
The room we rented looked a lot bigger in the pictures not a big deal but should be noted.
