DO NOT RENT FROM BLUE VIEW CHALETS. They bully renters and look for any reason to take your deposit.
I rented a chalet for a group of 30+ year olds for a weekend. Upon leaving, I was sent an email stating that we had been issued a noise violation and becuase of this, we would have to forfeit the entire $1000 deposit. When I asked for clarification, I was sent some sort of paper work outlining this apparent noise violation, they claim to have issued. I spoke to Abber Sakkejha, a member of the staff, and she just kept repeating herself, that I had lost the full deposit. She was rude and had no part in hearing out my concerns. I have yet to receive a call back or an email response.
I filed a Charge Dispute with my bank. My bank has now waived this charge and credited my account for the fraudulent charge. Enough said, right there. DO NOT RENT FROM BLUE VIEW CHALETS!

Again, we received no warning whatsoever, from your on-site security and I find it funny, that now on a public forum, you are willing to give the illusion that you are open to discussing this matter. You have yet to respond to my emails or call me back. At the end of the day, the bank found that our $1000 deposit was charged in bad faith, by your business. Therefore we did not have to pay it.

Read moreWe rented Chalet #5 Corona and Chalet #6 Stella for the Thanksgiving long weekend. The Chalets are located in a very desirable area and have ample parking. They are 3 floors each and the Living Room, Kitchen is on the top floor with cathedral ceilings and an open concept. The main floor when you walk in has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a sauna, laundry room, coat storage and access to the outdoor hot tub. The lower floor has 3 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Chalet #5 Corona was clean and fresh smelling. It had been updated with paint in more recent years and had a more modern feeling. The Sauna did not work and the water level was low in the Hot tub but no other complaints. Had plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable . Chalet #6 Stella had seen better days. She needed a fresh touch up of paint and cleaning. There were ripped couch cushions and burnt out bulbs. Windows that did not open/close properly with broken screens along with dead insects in the sills. The kitchen had limited pots for cooking and dirty baking sheets. The chalets had tons of space for everyone and the sheets were silky soft. The stairs became a bit too much for our older family members so something to keep in mind. My wedding has been cancelled, along with ALL wedding activities including my bachelorette, because of COVID-19 and they REFUSE to give us a refund. We were supposed to go for my bachelorette weekend May 22-24. My sister has been calling since the beginning of the pandemic to cancel and get our money back as there are members in my group who are out of work and need that money back. They told her in February they were only refunding/dealing with April bookings and to call back end of April. Now she has called back and they are saying they will not refund us 100%. Only 50%. WE ARE NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED TO GET TOGETHER DURING THIS TIME. How is that justified that we are paying for a weekend when we can't even go. There are single mothers in my group who now being out of work, need every penny but are not able to get their money back. I am extremely disgusting with how management has handled the issue. We have been bounced around from person to person and mocked for our plea to receive OUR OWN MONEY BACK. This has left the most sour taste in my mouth and I will never again book with this company.
