EXTREMELY HORRIBLE experience with the MANAGEMENT STAFF and customer service reps. They tried to simply validate themselves instead of accepting their mistake and giving us another room. Since we were supposed to get one queen bed and we got two double beds, we HAD TO MAKE our own (as per the manager). I wish I could give lower than one star. It’s very disappointing that we had to stay at this hotel because we can’t just cancel or change our plans due to a huge booking and clerical error and this was a very important event for us! WE STAYED AT THE SEASONS VILLAGE SUITES AND WE WERE GIVEN A ROOM WITH TWO DOUBLE BEDS. When we went back to the lobby to speak to the staff, THE EXTREMELY RUDE MANAGER let us know and I quote, 'Too bad all our rooms are booked so we are sorry but we cannot accommodate for your booking request the way you wanted. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO, YOU CAN BRING THE TWO DOUBLE BEDS TOGETHER TO MAKE A QUEEN otherwise, we can't help you.' Now, I don't know what kind of manager and customer service training your staff goes through but this was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had to experience. Not to mention that there were NO REFUNDS OR ALTERNATIVES OFFERED FOR OUR $200+/each rooms (we had two under one booking name) that we paid FOR A QUEEN BED NOT TWO DOUBLES. I too can confirm we stayed at the SEASONS VILLAGE SUITES and we were given two double beds... IN THE VILLAGE SUITES if that wasn't clear enough already. I am a local guide, I have left this review on the Seasons Village suites business page for a reason.

Blue Mountain can be a great getaway with a nice village of stores and restaurants. However, the Blue Mountain accommodations are terrible. While the rooms and premises appear to be clean, they are old and dated and the elevator wait times are insane! We stayed at Seasons and it took us forever to get on an elevator. It also seems that the elevators break down frequently, leaving a single elevator available. We experienced this while we were there and the staff confirmed that this was common. To top things off, there is no service elevator. So, we needed to battle the Blue Mountain staff for space on the elevator. This is just plain ridiculous as their staff were on the elevators often with large bins and other machinery. As a result, it took forever to get in and out of our rooms. The situation was very apparent during check-in and check-out times and it took us over an hour to check-out of our room. Finally, we requested a crib and found a huge yellow stain on the mattress. There was also a large stain on the duvet that they have wrapped between a duvet cover of sorts. We did not end up using the crib and got rid of the duvet. I would not stay here again!

Probably one of worst hotels I’ve stayed at. Pros - it’s in the heart of the village, cons; It’s super old and out dated. Our toilet stopped working; and we had to wait 30 mins in the morning for them to fix it. The house keepers didn’t bother cleaning the recycling bins from the previous guests. There was alcohol bottles, and water bottles over flowing. The sink handles were broken, the hot water went both ways, you had to find a delicate spot in the middle to turn it off. Oh, the sink also clogged, and the water would build up. The wifi is horrible, you have to pay for anything more than checking your email. What hotel does that today?!?! It’s our first time here, and honestly there are plenty of good places to stay outside the village. There’s plenty of free parking here, and if you get here even by 10am, you’ll find it. Don’t bother paying premium for the location when it’s most definitely not worth it. World avoid!

My family spent 3 nights here and while we made the best of enjoying it there definitely are areas that could be better. The cleaning and services staff were all very nice and seemed to be working their hardest to stay on top of everything, but seemed to be lacking certain tools that could help them in their daily routines. The couch upon arrival in our unit had certain stains (I'll leave to your imagination which kind I'm referring to) and the underside of the mattress had a odd stain on it. A portable steam cleaner per floor for the staff could help with preventing this. The wifi reception offered barely connects on the upper floors, testing router ports in room prior to guest experiences would be useful or looking into "dead spots" in the building. The hdmi cords in the front room were broken and left hanging from the wall. We were however given a new cord with DVD player which I will commend the staff for. There is a vague description given on almost issue. The views are nice yes but the overall experience of the lodging is comparable to the price paid for a $400 hotel in Niagara Falls. The virtual line was hard to manage with difficulty of connection, however once outside in the village it seemed to work better and we were able to make the best out of the activities available. Me and my daughter had a great time at the mini putt, the course could definitely use some repairs and patch work but even in a light drizzle it was enjoyable and the course had a fun scenic layout. The underground parking expense was not listed on the original booking page for the stay at all however, the price of $15 a night seemed comparable to most other establishments. Giving a guest a designated spot in the resort underground could be helpful, setting up a system were the reception knows what parking spaces are available to ensure guest have a spot throughout their stay could make a better guest experience. The village itself looked wonderful and there are many places to visit, the map was useful in locating certain ones when needed. While I don't blame the staff for the issues experienced for the price paid this building NEEDS work. It would be better to stay at a bnb in Meadford or other surrounding areas and travel there for the village/activities experience.

Blue Mountain Village -

We ate at both Mile High Poutine and Firehall Pizza during our visit, both were extremely delicious the price at Firehall Pizza was definitely better for its portions compared to the poutine however. We enjoyed shopping at a few establishments, Crock a Doodle was absolutely wonderful and is just left of the entrance to seasons. The lady who runs it seems very nice and the service provided both when my wife was picking up a surprise for my daughter, and when we went back to pick up a take away package for my wife was excellent. We purchased a sweater for my daughter at Blue Mountain Store the price for an adult vs child sweater seemed very close but it is a souvenir and thats typically upcharged. Pepper palace was a great visit and while the staff seemed knowledgeable they were spread thin and seemed very busy with helping as many guests that were in the store. I did purchase a ghost pepper sauce that is very good and the lethaldose50 which is a direct kick to the face. The flavour you do enjoy in the beginning is enjoyable but don't expect to taste much once it kicks in for a few hours as it completely dulls them out with a sizzling heat that I would not recommend to those unaccustomed to high heat hot sauce. The gondola ride provides incredible views but not offering a single two way ride ticket price and charging $35 for a hiking pass is...

Currently staying here for the long weekend. The room was spacious, that's about it. Where do I start? check in is at another location "concierge" seldom around. No one to ask questions. They have a virtual concierge to mitigate this but it is not very effective parking is an extra $20/night we booked this accommodation specifically because cribs are supposed to be available on request. We did not get one despite being provided false hope by multiple staff members only to disappoint. We even tried checking in a bit earlier to ensure this however to no avail. How frustrating spending my vacation on the phone begging for a crib speaking of check in, our room was not available until after 4pm despite a check in time of 4pm don't even think about trying to kill time in the pool while you wait for your room, there are no spots left available . The booking system is that at 6pm the slots open for booking for the next day. Each slot is 1.5 hrs long. There is no availability for the same day unless you want a late-night slot. We were able to book some time for our 2nd and 3rd day speaking of pool, the 1.5 hrs is not reinforced. I see people there all day and there are limited chairs the drawer in our room would not close and so it was open most of the time for my little one to hit her head on no housekeeping service apparently, well, at least we didn't receive any during our stay we ended up being forced to use our sofa bed because we couldnt all fit on the queen bed due to the crib issue. The sofa bed is the worst of the worst. My husband and my 4 year old slept on it while my 2 year old and I slept on the queen. Worst sleep of their lives. you can definantly hear people running above you, not good if youre a light sleeper. We were on the 3rd floor

In my opinion, the location is good but not worth it. We spent $900 for 2 nights and it was the worst money I've spent for vacation. Truly disappointing. No one to escalate to. And I am not even confident that even if I had escalated, anything would have been done. Truly disappointing. Doubt I will return to this specific accommodation. I will likely look for alternatives the next time I come back to...

My partner and I decided to celebrate our anniversary for 3 nights at Blue Mountain for the second time however it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

When we came into the room, it looked clean however there was hair all over the bathroom sink and shower, leftover hairtie in the shower, sticky residue on the bedside table, dishwasher was not even emptied before we came and there was popcorn on the ground in the living room. My partner contacted cleaning services to come, in which they said they would pass along our concerns and make sure the room is cleaned. A housekeeper came after a few hours with just a vacuum, when we asked her how long it would take to clean she said 5 minutes which is ridiculous. This means there was no communication regarding what our specific concerns were with the room. I showed her the popcorn on the ground and the housekeeper just picked it up. After leaving the room, my partner and I went to complain to the front desk in which they said they would send someone to do a full room cleaning. We left for about 2 hours, came back to the room with popcorn still on the ground, bed unmade, used towels still there etc. No one else came to do the full room cleaning.

Also, there was constant stomping for hours straight from upstairs which was very disruptive and not a peaceful stay.

I am absolutely shocked and very displeased with the lack of accountability and communication between housekeeping and management. I can see from past reviews that this is nothing new but also that nothing has changed with improving housekeeping and management.

Will not be returning and would...
