A recent visit to Camino Tacos was a mixed experience, to say the least. The restaurant itself is truly wonderful—the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. It's a lively and beautifully decorated space that makes you feel excited to be there, and it's clear that a lot of effort has been put into creating a great vibe. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the surroundings. I was quite disappointed by how salty everything was. The flavor of the tacos and other dishes was completely overwhelmed by the excessive seasoning, making it difficult to really enjoy the meal. For a bill that came out to over $30, I was hoping for a higher quality of food that felt more balanced and worth the price. I was also a bit surprised by the policy that I couldn't sit inside to eat since I had placed a takeout order. Even with several empty tables available, I was told this wasn't an option. It felt a bit unwelcoming, and it was a shame not to be able to enjoy the fantastic ambiance while eating my food. While the atmosphere is a definite highlight, the food and certain policies could use some improvement to match the restaurant's potential.

Craving for some tacos after ski/snowboard? There is a restaurant in the village serving yummy tacos! 🤠The interior of the restaurant is very clean and nice. Other than tacos, they also some very nice dessert, make sure to check that out! This time, we got… 🌮Barbacoa Tacos 🌮 This is one of their bestselling tacos that has braised beef brisket, lime, basmati rice, green pepper, onions with jalapeño chipotle and lime crema. ✨The beef is so soft and yummy and with the sauce, it is very juicy. 🤍 🌮Baja Fish 🌮 This is another bestselling taco that has battered fried cod, green apples, radish, lime slaw and guacamole. ✨This one is my favourite, the green apple and radish created this fresh flavour in the taco along with the fish, it is the perfect combo! 🤪 One thing I found unique about them is that if you are ordering 3 taco platter, you can only order the same one taco. 🤪I am definitely coming back for more tacos in the future! 🤍 Thank you for the yummy food! 🤍

Very poor service. No wonder the place was almost empty, Id give zero stars if possible. I ordered a meal and then dessert. They served the meal but the churros was pending. I waited over an hour, then they asked me to leave instead of checking if they missed any of my orders. The manager "Joyce" came up to me 3 times and harassed me into leaving because there was supposedly a reservation-- even if most of the tables were empty. Told her still waiting for the order. They served it stale and very very late without any apologies. Also, "Joy" one of the staff also kept bumping and dropping my camera bag with all my gear in it. The staff and manager dont seem to like working, and have no sense of customer service. Very disappointed, I DO NOT recommend, better wait an hour in cue at the other restaurants. Or if you want to be harassed and bullied by the manager and her staff or eat mediocre food then yes this is the place for you.

If I could give this zero stars I would, truly one of the most disappointing meals I've ever had. Went with family after a long hike up the mountain, we decided to get some nachos to split and a few tacos each. The portion of the nachos was tiny, would have been small for one person as a starter. We clearly had stated we were going to share so it would have been appreciated if they had told us it wasn't a sharing plate. The quality of the food was horrendous. Clearly from frozen, which was later confirmed by both waitress and manager. Food was bland and drowning in sauces, we all ordered barbacoa tacos which came soaking wet, as soon as you picked up the taco it was soggy all the way through, the meat tasted watery, legitimately inedible. I am not one to complain, and have never sent a plate back but for the price we were paying and the fact that it was across the board we had to complain. We were starving and couldn't eat the food we were served. The waitress ended up sending the manager over who we asked to just remove the barbacoa tacos from our bill, we had sent them back to the kitchen uneaten. He informed us it was against their policy to comp anything but we could request another taco instead. What followed was an unfortunate debate over the quality of the food, as we had really lost our appetite. The waitress told us the barbacoa was indeed from frozen, the manager told us she was "only a server and didn't know anything about the food", he told us it wasn't from frozen but when pressed said .. well the fish is frozen but not the beef. He refused to adjust our bill and sent us home with a free side of churros (which were hard). We paid over $100 for 4 people : a tiny starter of nachos, one taco each for 3 people and a burrito and 4 beers. As we were leaving I said to my family, "Well they at least the beer was good". To which my brother-in-law replied.. "it wasn't even cold..". If you're hungry in the village I would suggest anywhere...

We were a party of 20+ and knew going in we'd have to have some patience. Two servers took care of our party, and I can only speak for the one who worked with us (unfortunately dont know her name).

She seemed to have a hard time taking our order, it was quite slow and struggled to use her ordering interface. She never offered water for our table (which is standard when seated I'd think) until we asked for it after we ordered and some even receiving their food. The drinks came out slow as well. At this point I could only assume they never dealt with a full house so I was patient. She brought over our drinks and spilled one on me. The apology was abismal and didn't offer to compensate for the drink that spilled and she proceeded to serve me. She also failed to bring someone a drink they ordered.

We received our food quite quickly.out of the four tables of our party, we were seated last, served first and paid last. Paying seemed like a struggle...which she blamed on the ordering system she used that somehow "messed up" despite her asking our names at the beginning of ordering. She also gave someone wrong change and needed to calculate my total after me verbally telling her what I ordered more than 3 times. Our table took 20 minutes to pay and we were a table of 6 (others of our party had completed paying already)

Again I know they must've been busy but standard service was clearly lacking. The food quality is the only reason I give this 2 stars. By reading other reviews it seems to be a pattern so if this is important to you, discover another place...

Holy moley, buckle your seats for this one folks.

Starting off with the pros of this place; they played a tame impala song. A rare find, but the best part of the experience starts here. Next was a lime Margherita, really limey, but overall tasty and half price.

Okay, the end of the good stuff, onto the worst to terrible. The "upgraded" Flossy Margherita, not worth. It's no longer half price, because of the upgrade of $1, they make it full price. They screw you over, don't order for the love of God. Mango tasted burnt ((idk how, it just did)). The chips for the guac, holy crap were they stale. I get their chips, but just so underwhelming and gross. Lays original are 10x better in every way. The GUAC,, I can't even start. No onion, no flavour, no seasoning, and no quantity. It tasted like avocado, and barely. If you took the idea of guacamole, and took everything good away from it, they sell that here.

Service was mid, she was okk? Didn't discount the guac, which normally I would expect considering I barely ate 1/4 of it .

Please make the drive into Collingwood for Bent Taco. Just go there, way better pricing and actually good food.

Don't come here, if you made it to the bottom of this review, just stay away. Don't be fooled, swindled, tricked, or deceived. It's terrible, absolutely terrible. Go to the God damn pita pit (( I was dreaming about it while I was inside ))

PPS,, if you really made it to the bottom, this one's for you. I WENT HOME, TO MAKE FOOD. That's how bad it was, end of...
