We stayed 5 nights in a bungalow ( most expensive option) ||Positive points. :||. Accommodation is large , does include air conditioning and very correct WiFi. Cleaning properly made each day.||. Excellent breakfast service: wide choice and very nice and professional service||. Well located ( several restaurants ,bars, shops nearby.||Negative points. :||. Bungalows are by a road ( you cannot notice it on the hotel internet site…). So be prepared to hear noice in the night||. Unstable flow of hot water ( maybe a general situation in Hanga Roa ?)||. The is not an hotel. No reception ( only for check in and check out) . You can contact somebody for assistance by fone of WhatsApp.||. Unpleasant and dishonest experience at the time of checking out. Surprisingly the payment machine was supposed to be unable to accept payment in US dollars as contracted , unlike all other hotels in Chile we stayed in. Bottom line : we were applied a very unfavorable, exchange rate and finally paid more than what had been agreed…we argued but had to leave to the airport…||. No free service of transfer from/to the airport , unlike some hotels. They charge 50 usd for a couple. …it’s a five minute ride , so we took a taxi ( half the price)||All in all, we found it quite expensive and would...
Read moreLa Perouse is the perfect place to stay on Easter Island. The warm welcome and daily greeting at the included breakfast you receive makes you feel right at home. I stayed for a week and each morning and night enjoyed the sounds of the waves crashing just outside my door and the amazing views of the sky at night, on the furnished back patio . Every attention to detail has been made from the high quality bathroom products to the comfortable and clean bed. Great water pressure in the shower and toiletries, along with a rain jacket and umbrella, even a cloth shopping bag so there’s no plastic bags used, are all provided. Some friends stayed at a much more expensive place and did not have all the comforts I enjoyed at La Perouse. I highly recommend and hope I can return. I even left some things in the desk drawer and they offered to send them to me!!...
Read moreWe stayed here a week during the Tapati Festival. The waterfront location is perfect for watching surfers and harbor traffic from the patio, room, or breakfast area. For the Festival, it's just a short walk in either direction to events. Paola and all the staff here are so welcoming, helpful, and fun--like an extended family. We stayed in the deluxe sea-view bungalow which was just right for a couple--private but adjacent to the main building, with everything you need from cooking utensils to beach blankets. Air conditioning was appreciated on hot days. Great breakfast is included. No restaurant on site, but good choices are next door and just down the street. The main street of town and car rental are only a few minutes walk. If you need a taxi, Paola can call one with a very reasonable price. Could have stayed...
