A stunning setting over looking the ocean, with sound of the waves and island tunes playing in the background - things were only going to get better.
I don’t usually drink sweet cocktails, but the setting demanded a Piña colada; and OMG, it was the best Piña colada I have ever tasted. Plenty of booze, local pineapples, and the ice was ground perfectly🍍🍸.
The menu was not huge, though there were plenty of appetising options. I have dined here twice, and thus far, I have had the sashimi and the pesto pasta. Both were perfect, though be prepared for a nap after the pasta and Piña colada.
Our hotel recommended Kanahua as the best place for cocktails and food within the local vicinity and they weren’t wrong.
I highly recommend visiting this serene restaurant for lunch, sundowners, and/or dinner.

The seafood was tender and melted in my mouth, while the sauce brought everything together in a truly exceptional way. Every element on the plate was so thoughtfully composed that I honestly couldn’t imagine a better combination.
I’m genuinely amazed and deeply impressed by the chef’s artistry. The way they play with flavor and texture is nothing short of brilliant. Words fail to express how delighted I am with this culinary experience. This level of creativity and execution absolutely deserves...

The dainty dipping toasts were a crispy afterthought to the soup. Serving in a preheated heavy stone bowl ensures the soup stays warm for relaxed dining. David and Matias were gracious waiters, very patient w our Spanglish. Great sense of humor too. We went two times. Excellent ceviche and grilled tuna medallions. Be sure to order grilling Anglaise or “tsch tsch” if you want to avoid...
