The apartment is located near a metro station and a shopping mall, however, you should prefer to shop in Parque Arauco or in Costanera. The apartment I stayed offered a wonderful view of the city. The neighborhood is nice, but the traffic noise is unbearable, specially overnight. It would be nice if they put some anti noise windows. All things considered, it's a nice apartment, but in desperate need of improvement. For instance, painting the walls should be considered a basic maintenance action. There is a fully equipped kitchen, but the appliances are too dirty to use. Cleaning, in general, should be greatly improved. The day we arrived, we found other guests's hair all over the floor and even in the bed linen. The towels were old and ragged. When we complained about it, they promised us "the best towels they had". Next day, we received a "new" towel with a nice big hole! (I have photos of it, but it's so degrading that I'd rather keep it to myself). It seemed that the management would take care of it, but the same thing kept happening in the following days. Eventually, we gave up complaining. We were on vacation, trying to make the best of it and we didn't want to waste so much time dealing with these problems. In my opinion, it's a too pricey accommodation for such a poor...
Read moreNorus Apart Hotel||Norus Apart Hotel that is located in Santiago de Chile is a really cool hotel I would recommend because it is really modern and not old fashioned at all. When I saw it for the first time I was astonished because it looked like one of that kind of smart buildingsthat look really moder. I had a really good impression because my uncle who lives in Chile, told me that it was one of the most popular of Santiago.||Guests can go to the gym that was really well equipped. The hotel also offered a swimming pool and a really cool saun. These facilities helped me a lot because when I was here, in Buenos Aires, I used to train everyday and there I could carry on with the running training.||One thing to bear in mind is that this hotel did not offer breakfast, so that is a negative aspect, but the level of servicewas really cool because the stuff would make the bed and they cleaned the carpet with a special machine. Also this hotel was really well located because you had lots of things to do in the área. Furthermore, the hotel had a really good wi fi connection, and an individual wi fi network for each room.||To sum up I would definitely recommend it because it is not expensive and it offers lots of facilities. This is the perfect hotel for someone who would like to visit...
Read moreDifficult to find, as the building signage doesn't actually say Norus, and is on a minor side-street. Check-in staff did not have even rudimentary English skills, and I depended on Google Translate to stumble through the process. Stove and oven were not working, though fixed the second day after we informed Norus by email. Washer & dryer are a combined appliance, and drying takes (literally) 5 hours on normal setting; definitely not adequate to doing laundry for a family. We had to leave water running for 5+ minutes for hot water to begin in the shower, then we wondered why the shampoo wasn't cleaning our hair. The next day, the maid was filling up old shampoo mini-bottles with a large bottle of some solution to make them seem new. Ugh!||||Pros: safe neighborhood, relatively near a Metro stop on the "red" line, and around the corner from a small grocery store. Newer furnishings.||||The only reason to stay here is a mid-length stay (e.g. 5-7 days), where one needs quiet, out-of-the-way housing, and can bring your...
