One Nk Apartments — Hotel in Las Condes

The apartment building was ideal for our situation . We had a lot of family flying in for a wedding and this was ideal for all ages. We had rented 3 apartments. If you get the full units you get a 2 twin bed and king bed setup with living room, dining area, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It worked perfectly for our situation.

The area: It’s in a very safe area of Santiago and has a lot of little shops and restaurants underneath and within walking distance to many places. It’s also situated close to a play park if you have kids or a dog who needs some play time as the building is welcoming to all.

The building: It’s a very nice looking building and has a 24 hour door person with a small lobby. There are apartments with and without balconies so if you’re looking for outdoor space I’d recommend making sure you book the right thing. There is a small gym and parking as well. Next door there are a bank and convenience shop for quick grabs.

The apartments were nice and generally comfortable. It was mostly clean but I like to walk with no shoes and for some reason it felt like there was always some soot on the floor despite asking the cleaning staff to come so I ended up washing my feet over and over.

The rooms can be connected by keeping only the front door closed but you can also close for more privacy.

Down side, the master bedroom doesn’t have the air conditioning unit inside of the room so we had to keep the door to the living room to the bedroom open which was fine for us since no one was in the living room. The bathrooms were nice but if you have older people which we did I’d be careful that they don’t slip in the shower. There is a bar to hold on to but also something to keep in mind in a country with a lot of earthquakes.

The staff: they were awesome and quick. Our safe was not closing and had issues and they were quick to fix it for us. The people were very thoughtful and didn’t give us an issue when we had small troubles or questions including needing a toaster oven.

Best of both worlds: Hotel and apartment. Initially I was planning to stay 3 nights to look for a furnished apartment. I ended up stay for a month. Very clean ( they will clean everyday, except Sunday), Changed linens and towels every 3 days. I stayed in 1 bedroom apartment and had fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room and separate bedroom and bathroom. Has 24 hrs reception area service and private parking. Overall a really nice apartment in the financial district. Super safe and close to subway line and an easy walk to some high-end shopping centers. Apartment was clean to the point it smelled like disinfectant on day 1 with daily housekeeping offered. Television in the lounge room needs to be replaced - outdated with basic channels and unable to load any apps. Some cleaning of mould from grout in bathrooms and replacement of rusty shower heads also couldn’t go astray. Second bedroom was very small so probably best suited to kids or one adult only.
