ibis Santiago Las Condes — Hotel in Las Condes

If this is a nice modern hotel located in a excellent area short walks to shopping restaurants and entertainment I didn't like how I could not get a hold of anybody at the hotel prior to check in I had a question about my reservation tried to call for 2 weeks and could never get ahold of anybody they have a number but nobody answers it after checking in I found out the only way to contact them is through WhatsApp this is an app I'm not familiar with and I do not have but after checking in we downloaded it and communication was good once that was accomplished however they don't tell you about WhatsApp until you check in so if you have a question before you check in it's not going to happen because you won't know about what's up until you actually check in one other thing I didn't like was was the shampoo dispenser was not located in the shower it was next to the sink in the bathroom only the body wash is mounted inside the shower we didn't notice that and my wife slipped trying to get to the shampoo when taking a shower not a good idea it should be located inside the shower next to the body soap but other than that the hotel was clean our room was clean and the staff...

I really wanted to be better, it wasn't. 0 Service, incredible.

No phones at the room, and they give you a whatsapp that they don't answer, so no service. asked for towels we were missing one, late. questions, late.

Keys deactivate 3 times a day, we changed hotels and that didn't happen in others. We asked for a wine corkscrew and they said they didnt have (no mini bar or anything at the room, or coffee). A waitress helped us inside the restaurant. Next day we tried the same and they wanted to charge us 5K Chile pesos to open it! in our room!! Incredible. Only one chair for kids very very dirty, and when I asked for something to clean it, they sent me a cloth and left, didn't try to clean it themselves or help in any way. Breakfast was good, and helpers outside the hotel also. Location is good, only reason IMO why they have good rate. The room is extremely small, i went for work and even though it was tiny.

The shower in the room did not run hot, the safe in the room was malfunctioning and kept beeping loudly every 5 minutes. Upon telling this to the staff I was told that maintenance would be up to fix it. I waited an hour and no one came. I had to leave to go to work. Upon my return, the hot water and the safe had not been fixed, I don't think they'd even bothered to look at it. I went back to the staff to ask again and was greeted with shrugs and told to basically deal with it because it was late. So I had no shower and poor sleep for the night and left the hotel the next day to book into somewhere else. The staff were rude and unhelpful, the rooms are furnished like a prison cell, grey, paper thin walls and a paper thin mattress. I know this is a budget option for a hotel but this was the worst hotel I have ever...
