Casa Ryan — Hotel in Providencia

Do not reccomend. Waited outside for 1 hour after ariving (on the street), because the gate is locked and the doorbell did not work. After yelling and shaking the gate finally, someone came out to let us in. They do not have hotel/hostel staff - the janitor (cleaner) is the only staff. Room is ok, house is nice, but showers (not in room) are in very bad condition, noone speaks english (not one word) and breakfast was the cheapest and worst in my experience - had to wait 40 minutes for the cleaner.to go buy bread, and then we got only 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of hap per person. No more. 1 slice. 1 glass of fake orange juice and some butter. Thats it. Had to go out to have breakfast, which was very nice in the surrounding cafe/restaurant. ||Overall, experience was not horrible, but not good and would not...

El peor lugar que pude escoger. Pagué por una habitación doble con baño privado, resultando ser una habitación separada de la casa, específicamente situada en el patio trasero, correspondiendo antiguamente a la habitación del personal de servicio. Primera noche, problemas con ruidos de los vecinos. Segundo día, mi hija pequeña ensució las sábanas con lápices escripto (marcadores), por lo que me contactó el dueño por whatsapp indicándome qué debían descontarme $40.000 por las sábanas. Al llegar después de haber ido a un curso por trabajo, las lavé yo, con apoyo de la mucama (que a todo esto era extranjera y se encontraba irregular en el país), dejándolas más blancas de lo que me las entregaron. No conforme con eso, el dueño o encargado, quien nunca apareció físicamente en el hostal, supe que quería cobrarme las sábanas de todas maneras, cosa que en mi opinión era una completa usura. Además, cobran $10.000 pesos por día por el estacionamiento de automóvil, condición que también puede considerarse como usurera. El desayuno, horrible! El pan era precocido de supermercado y con suerte había café o té, unas rebanadas de queso y jamón de baja calidad. Para colmo, como lavé las sábanas para enmendar el pequeño accidente de mi guagua, noté que el colchón de la cama estaba a muy mal traer, sin considerar que se hundía en unos costados...después por el mismo personal que trabaja en el lugar, supe que arriendan dicha habitación por horas en la noche.
