Hotel Puelche — Hotel in Puerto Varas

Spent 4 nights here up on the top floor. Massive bed and room with good bathroom with view of the lake and the volcano beyond, when the clouds permitted.|Location: a short 10min walk in to town so easy but without the noise of traffic & people outside your window.|Breakfast: The best so far in our tour. We chose fruit, yoghurt, berries, granola & wholemeal toast plus eggs. Good pleasant service but the coffee was weak.|Reception: very helpful in finding me a therapist for my hurt back.|Room cleaned well.|Food: Burger bar downstairs convenient and tasty. Made me up a meat free salad which was very tasty. We stayed in Hotel Puelche for 4 nights during our Patagonia trip. it was the most expensive hotel we stayed throughout our journey. However, the service was not the greatest. Wifi wasn’t working everywhere, the cleaning service would leave trash and dirt. We had to ask and wait for towels. Across the street from the Hotel Cumbres, this is a charming Patagonia style hotel with the feeling of a boutique lodge. Homemade breakfast is included in the rate, and the restaurant is famous for is Reina Burger, the best in town. I had to go back a second time just to have another Reina.
