Punta Arenas has grid layout. The blocks are relative large. Each Bus Operator (Pacheco, Cruz del Sur, Barria, Buses Fernandes, Techni-Austral) has its own office. The supermarket with long opening hours (9pm) is downtown. ||||The hostel is a 20min walk on foot. It is located in a residential area. There is a small mini-market next to the Hostel, but it is better to buy in the supermarket downtown. On a later visit of Punta Arenas I realized you have to walk long from/to everywhere and the distance is not soo bad.||||The house feels like a private family house. The house is clean and nice. ||||The 5 bed dorm is under the roof and has normal beds (no bulk).||||The breakfast was accessible at 7am. Read moreSuper cosy place which gives you a feeling of being at home. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the beds are a dream to sleep in with thick, fluffy blankets. Everything is clean, the kitchen is good and well equipped and showers are hot and with good pressure. Breakfast consists of unlimited bread (tasty ones!), jam, butter, cheese, tea, coffee and orange juice.||Good places to hang out, both in the living room, dining room and the kitchen. Wifi is stable and quite fast and there are electric plugs everywhere so you can charge your stuff. They have a computer as well. ||Location is nice, just by the water, although a little bit out of the city center. We all had our own single rooms per couple, which was really nice!
