I was spending a month in Valdivia, and I found this beautiful little hotel in a super quiet location, not far from "the Center" and just overlooking the Costanera for my cousin who was visiting from Argentina. Made a two-night reservation with Elia (who seemed to be manager or owner). Elia was charming, accomodating, and very efficient! I saw the room and it looked pretty good to my NorthAmerican eyes, and my cousin said the room was super clean and bathroom fixtures were quite new and "nice". I went to share breakfast two mornings and, yes, the breakfast was good too -- eggs to order and nice buffet sweet and salty stuff, cakes and oatmeal and toast and avocados and yogurt and ...
