We are two Mexicans traveling around Asia for two months, we counted the number of hostels and hotels in which we have stayed and they sum around 15. |We're not picky people, we have stayed in every kind of place and we can honestly say this is the WORST of them all. |1. Beijing's dump is cleaner than this place: |A) towels have a brownish strange tone instead of being white and they were smelly. |B) my sheets had a suspicious blood stain since I got there.|C) the room stinks like an ashtray, I seriously though somebody went in there to smoke when I was away.|D) they just cleaned the bathroom once (we stayed there for 3 nights). At the end of our stay it was disgusting taking a shower.|E) to end off, breakfast kitchen was even dirtier than the room. ||Along with all of this, we couldn't complain at all because not a single soul speaks english, or anything else than Chinese, not even the manager. Nobody could help us, or even tried to. Service was null. We had to ask for toilet paper everyday, and trust me, it took more than 15 minutes for them to understand what we were asking for. ||Besides everything, it is EXPENSIVE. ||We seriously never take the time to write these kind of reviews. Read moreI just got back from Beijing 2 days ago and I am not one to write bad reviews, but hopefully my review can help others.||||Pros||- It is very close to Forbidden City, Wangfujing St, shopping, restaurants and Wangfujing snack street. Overall, the location is primetime and great!||- Mini mart is next door, so grabbing water, snacks, food before your day trip is convenient and super easy.||- Cleaned rooms daily||- The cost of rooms are cheaper compared to other hotels.||||Cons||- Hotel receptionist speak none to very limited English.||- Hotel hallways smell like burned seafood or smoke....||- Beds are hard.||- Rooms had an odor....or a stank||- I had a Deluxe Room and no AC, which really sucked...I slept with the window open to get some kind of air, but a few bugs got in.||- Water pressure from shower was very weak, but manageable.||- Mediocre/weak wifi||- Good luck asking for a taxi.||||Overall, I would only recommend staying here for 1 night, if you're trying to save $ and can manage sleeping in musky hot temp. Nice evening food market in front of Hotel...!!||||Bad wifi signal||Bad smell||Bad House keeping||Bad staff - they dont know how to behave, talk etc(everything)||No one understands english - except one lady that comes in day.||||At night when I came back from outside, i found the toilet dustbin and other stuffs near my bed, called reception to remove it (send house keeping), but they kept on saying "no english" and disconnected the call.||I called them atleast 10 times, but same response.||I even shouted "Fire in my room" but there response was same.||||The staff did not call the Taxi for airport, as they dont understand english.||||Imagine if there is a medical emergency - what will happen to the guest ??
