Baili Hotel — Hotel in Guangzhou City

i stayed 3 nights at this hotel with my wife and 1 of our kid. It was one of the modern high tech hotel i had stayed in china. The service was really excellent allowing us to have late checkout till 3.00 pm while waiting for my night flight. The house keeping service was truly excellent making you feel comfortable like your home and very polite welcoming us.. They had cleaned our room nicely every day. They are one of the key staffs that make the hotel guest feel enjoying while staying in this hotel. The breakfast menu was quite variaty as well from day to day. The cin cong fen at the last day is truly delicious.The location is also very good as it is in walking distance to shangxiajiu street where it sold a lot food and shopping mall. . Last not least, one of the best service they gave to their guest was the free bottle water they put in front of the lift in each floor allowing their hotel customer to take additional bottle of water for free if the two free bottles provided inside the room isnt enough. The bottle of water is not an expensive stuff. But it made us a lot of convenience not required to buy additional one from outside if needed. Truly a great idea that made this hotel looks different from others (on positive side)Finally one of the thing they can improve is to change the power plug inside the room with international standard allowing many type of power socket type (they use china power socket type). So for us traveling from indonesia was unable to plug in our mobile charger power socket type and etc as it is different from china one and we missed to bring power socket converter. Other option is to offer the free loan converter to the guest during checkin type and return it back...

What I like about the hotel - first one has to be the staff. Always ready to help and will come to your room to assist you. Next, they provide washer and dryer FOC with detergent. Also bottled water is free and self service near the reception area. Finally, the bed is comfortable and soft.There are many things I don’t like about the hotel:1. What bother me most is the location. Hotel is situated in an old and dirty part city where there are row and row of shops exporting garment or packaging them for e-commerce. Packages always spill over to the walkway and with their trolley and bags lying around, make it difficult to walk. It is about 200m walk to the walking street but the surrounding is really rundown. Nearest metro is about 770m away.2. Room is small. Barely any place to sit. Toilet is small and no place to hang my toiletries bag. Book the room as it was advertised on Trip to be about 15-18m but in reality about half the size.3. Cleanliness can be improved. Exterior walls and windows is dirty. Would I stay at the hotel again?
