Ji Hotel Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center — Hotel in Guangzhou City

• Comfort: 7.5/10• Service: 7/10• Cleanliness: 10/10Fast check in process but note that you will need to have your photo taken (using their webcam camera) as a hotel security measure. Security is great - you have to swipe to enter your floor at the lift.Keep in mind that limited staff can speak english - most front desk people ask you to write what you want to say on their phone for it to be translated.Extremely clean! The cleaning staff will automatically provide daily housecleaning and clean your room, provide fresh bedding and towels, and more water bottles. During the time of my stay, I could use the laundry and dryer for free, however much I needed so that was extremely convenient.A few negative: 1. The windows can’t be closed. It was super cold (under 2 degrees outside at night) and the window would open since it was extremely windy outside. At the time, the hotel didn’t activate the “heater” function, and only “cooling” could be used, so the room got really cold even if I turned off the “aircon.”2. Walls are not soundproof, can hear neighbours if they are playing music loudly or using hair dryer.3. They say no smoking floor but some people still smoke sometimes - I can smell i through the corridors.4. If you’re at the higher floors (floor 37-43); it sometimes takes ages for the lift to arrive. There are a total of 4 lifts, 2 which stop at every floor, and 2 which are more express lifts (and the one the recommend to go up to your floor). During peak hour the wait can be around 5-10mins for the lift to arrive.Overall, it’s a nice, cosy and very clean hotel space. Great location and amenities but just keep in mind the general negatives I listed. I did enjoy my stay so I could recommend it but maybe if you travel there during warmer seasons (since the window issue is rather inconvenient especially if they don’t activate the “heat” function for room air...

First time in China since a long while and was trying to find a hotel which costs around us$70. My hotel requirement is that needs to be clean and near public transport, was reading up on a lot of reviews to find the right fit, given my small budget.Chanced upon the description of the property which says it was built in 2022 and decided that this was it.Nice place and modern zen looking. All Seasons has nailed a sweet spot in this China hotel market. Room was decent size and clean sheets. Also has a Chinese tea set if u want to make tea. Breakfast was normal for the price you pay.Near the sports complex and I thought that would be far from public transport, but I since realised that in GZ it’s actually cheap to take taxi around so public transport not really key. Also it is convenient to rent a bike and I took this option to travel up and down from the hotel to the teemall / grandview mall area / metro station. So that cuts down on the walking. This Tianhe area would be a nice area to site yourself. Other areas include the Beijing pedestrian area.Hotel has some running mill and stationary bikes in the gym. Also a laundry room with many machines. Only complaint would be the lifts are slow to begin with and have to serve many guests.Hope this review is helpful to people who are still undecided....

I’ve stayed at Ji Hotel multiple times, and it’s truly one of my favorite places to stay. Every visit feels like coming home. The staff’s hospitality is exceptional—especially the housekeeping ladies who always greet me with a warm smile every morning. It’s such a small gesture, but it really makes my day.The services offered are top-notch and incredibly convenient. All my Taobao packages are safely delivered to the hotel without any hassle, and my food deliveries are always brought right up to my room. It’s incredibly convenient and makes my stay completely stress-free. What I loved the most is their laundry service—it’s reliable, and really well done, staff will help to put it to the dryer when the washing is done. It’s those kinds of thoughtful touches that keep me coming back.Overall, Ji Hotel delivers a cozy, comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality.
