Apartamentos Facile — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

The Wednesday before Easter, they raised the rent by 50% from the 1st of April for all residents. Or offered to move into another apartment in the same building - which then is not available. We reached out to the owner in her vacation and she told us now that we can stay - I guess because so many tenants left.

The staff tells us they do not get paid on time. Something very weird is going on here.

And that all while it's difficult to sleep longer than 7am as then the construction work in the building continues.

Rooms: 3/5 The apartments are good. They come with large windows, are fully furnished with quality items. If you have a dog, you'll find the building accommodating. Unfortunately there is all the time water damage. So do not be surprised with water dropping from your ceiling. Happens all the time.

Service: 3/5 The building's staff are approachable and kind, but the overall service experiences some shortcomings. Efforts to enhance the building with amenities like a gym and sauna are ongoing, yet progress is slow and outcomes often fall short of promises. Challenges such as a shortage of key cards and the work going on in the house due to renovations have been frustrating for residents. Cleaning is unreliable and does not clean well. Never behind the doors, never in the corners, damage your belongings, and they are always stressed as there is not enough cleaning staff.

Location: 4/5 Situated in a prime area of Bogotá, the location of Edificio Facile is excellent, offering easy access to a wide range of amenities and attractions. But not so much in walkable distance.

More Details: Eating at the building's restaurant can be pricey. Breakfast is around 26,000 COP, offering various items, and lunch is 35,000 COP, including a soup, main dish, and salad. The food is usually mediocre.

Water damage is a persistent issue in many apartments and the office areas, poorly dealt with temporary fixes or just painted over, leaving the underlying problem unsolved and the building moldy. Promises of repairs are often made but not fulfilled, leading to continued leaks and now visible holes in the ceilings.

A significant incident that highlights the service and management issues involved a resident's Porsche being damaged in the garage. Despite the severity, there was a lack of response from management, no effort to stop the person responsible, and no compensation for the substantial damages.

This has been one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. This hotel/ apartments should have a rating of 5.0 or more because my stay has been amazing. These apartments have everything you need for your stay. The view is super beautiful also. Also it’s super safe here which I have liked more than anything. Super friendly staff and super clean apartments with washer/dryer. Bathrooms are big. Love the modern closets. The bed is super comfortable. The lady that cleans does amazing. Your room smells so good. Nice and fresh. You won’t regret staying here for sure. I stayed here for more than 30 days. I would love to stay here again. I also want to mention these apartments have 2 floors. You just have to see them they are wonderful. I’m so happy I stayed here and I leave soon and I’m sad because this place is super home like. UPDATE:

The place has changed somewhat since the last time we reviewed the place. The people working here are as kind as ever, and the atmosphere is more relaxed now that the guests are more chill

Now there is a restaurant service in the first floor, and the whole building is getting a makeover with new paint colors and nice additions all over

Internet is fast when using Ethernet, but the WiFi is a bit harder to handle, anyway. Much much better than any other hotel we have stayed at

If I had to complain, I would say that samstags the first floor get a bit crowded because of the modeling agency that has their offices there. But since we usually go out arround that time, it has been no big deal
